The night was cold. It felt like it was digging into your skin. The sky was clear tonight stars looking down upon us. At the edge of the city a warehouse sits at the bottom. It's dark appearance would make a few people stand clear of it.
It's the perfect place to stay.Inside most of the rooms were barren all of which are dark. You would basically be able to hear the faint echoes of a keyboard being used rapidly. "Anything?" A voice asked. The robot of which he spoke to shook his head. "Nothing yet-" soon enough the sound echoes around the room. "Analysis complete." It would repeat.
He takes a step forwards towards where the robot was sitting to see better. "Interesting..." he says as he continues to look on the screens. "She has very little data. What's so interesting? M-master?"
He closes his eyes and leans back slightly.
"Her face." He says simply.Orbital seven looks at her face in the picture then back at his master. "I don't seem to understand M-M-master ki-"
"I thought you wouldn't remember."
Orbital seven looks confused as he continues to watch his master. "Her face seems similar like I've seen it before."Orbital looks doubtful "are you sure your getting enough sleep?" His master looks back at him with a death look. Orbital quickly apologizes and decides to stay quiet. He tries to remember where he thought he had seen her face, but the harder he thought about it the harder it got.
He soon moves orbital out of the way who quickly and clearly says "Hey!" He ignores it and starts typing. Finally he gets a picture up of a person he used to know. A picture of Quinton was soon put next to (my) face.
His eyes soon had that look. "That's who she is." He said as he saved the information in a file. "What?" Orbital tries to talk but gets ignored again. Being curious he decides to do some research about it himself so without any time to waste orbital gets down to research.
His master walks to one of the rooms down below the main floor. Walking past room after room until finally reaching the last door. He stops to look at the door before putting his hand and the door and slowly opening it. It was dark like most of the other rooms, but this room was different he turned the lights on.
The room was practically empty except for a small photo in the corner of the room along with a book. He walks over there smiling slightly as he saw the picture of the days himself and hart were seemingly free. Soon enough his eyes lay down towards the small book on the ground. It had a lock on it with the cover a black with a red bleeding rose on it.
He didn't know why he kept it, but that day when he got it something felt different possibly special about it. It was painful to think about that day too though. Quinton had given it to him one day...
a few days before he left unexpectedly. For a reason he didn't know he would always remember that moment clearest. "Here."
Quinton lifted the small brown wrapped gift over to him. "What is it?" Quinton only smiles "there's a reason it's wrapped you know." That was when he felt anger rush through him but he took a deep breath and opened it. A book with a black cover a painting of a bleeding rose and a lock left on it.
He held the lock up in his hand and gripped it tightly. He always wondered why Quinton never gave him the key. Yet he always wondered why he, himself never broke it opened. It would've been so much easier, but something always kept him from doing it.
Soon enough he drops the lock and walks out of the room he barely stays in this room anymore too many thoughts running at him at once-
