Chapter 13

*Nash's POV*

Matthew and I both heard a knock on the door, so we got up walked over and opened it. There were two gorgeous girls, but the one on the right was beautiful. Light brown hair, not many freckles, very short. I'd say they were both 5'4. I decided to introduce myself. 'Hi, I'm nash.' I said casually. Matthew's girl didn't seem to be as shocked as her friend. 'Hello, I'm Danielle.' She laughed staring at Carleigh's facial expression. 'And this is Carleigh, she's probably a little shocked cause I didn't tell her that Matthew was my neighbor.' she said. 'well does she know that she'll be going on a date with nash?' Matthew said quizily. Carleighs facial expression goes from shocked to laughing. 'Whats funny?' I ask her. She just keeps laughing. Uhh, maybe she thinks it's a dream. 'it's not a dream babe, I'm real. I promise.' I say with a wink. She eventually got herself together, and we were all walking to Matthew's car. I wonder where he was taking us.

*Matthew's POV*

We all headed to the car, I bet they were all hungry so we all went to Applebee's. I didn't really talk to Danielle when she got to my house, so as we get out of the car I come around and engulf her into a hug. At first she hesitates then gives in. She's 5 inches shorter than me so her head rest on my chest. She's so perfect. I want to hangout with her a lot more so I can see if she likes me.

We walk in side and the smell of food endures are us, it smells so good. I didn't realize how hungry I was until a waiter walked by with food. Oh god we need to sit down and order before I starve to death. The waitress that sat us leaned over the table having he breasts hangout obviously trying to impress Nash and I. Clearly it was not working for either of us, but the girls looked really jealous so I said 'pepsi' quickly so she'd get out of our hair.

Danielle didn't look too happy, so I scooted a little closer so I could whisper in her ear. 'Dont worry babe, I'm not interested in her.' I said with a wink. She giggled, holy cow she's adorable. I kissed her cheek, and turned back towards Carleigh and Nash. They're talking, and laughing together, I think they might like each other.

*Danielle's POV*

I felt butterflies when Matthew kissed my cheek, I wonder if he likes me.. I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize that the waiter was standing at our table. I decide that I wanted a burger, fries, and a milkshake. Matthew

got 3 tacos, Nash got baby back ribs, and Carleigh got a salad. The waiter brought the bill and it came out to be 41 dollars. I insisted on paying for my 9 dollars but Matthew said to not worry about it. He was so sweet. He'd be a great boyfriend, too bad well never date..

Our waiter came back with all of our food, he set it all down slowly and the four of us thank'd him. He walks away and we all start grubbin'. It was probably the best burger you can ever have, it was delicious. I was the first one done, which made me seem fat but I didn't care. When I'm hungry I'll eat infront of whoever. And if Matthew judges me because of the way I eat then he's waisting my time. If he can't take me as I am, he'll watch me as I leave. Just as I said that in my head, he looks at me with a confused look, as if he had just read my mind. I take out my phone to see if there was anything wrong with my face. Nope, all clear. 'What's wrong, Matt? You look like you just saw a ghost.' I say sounding concerned. 'I just realized that me and Nash leave for Magcon in 3 days.' he looked away as if he was hurt. 'Shit! I totally forgot about that. Damnit, I wanted to get to know carleigh a little more..' he says blushing. 'Awh. Maybe we can get tickets?' Carleigh looks at me in a pleading tone. 'Uhhh, that was your other birthday present...' I say. 'Oh my god! are you serious?!? y'all can come with us! And share rooms and stuff cause I don't want either of y'all hurt while we're there.' Matthew says with the biggest smile on his face. 'That sounds perfect.' I say with a smile.

After paying for our dinner, we all pile into Matthew Range Rover. He looks at me and grabs my hand, and intertwines our fingers. His hands were so soft. 'Can we go to the cliff?' Nash interrupted my thoughts. 'Where is that?' I asked. 'Oh it's where you sit under the stars, or you can go down to the beach.' he explains. 'OH OH, I WANNA GO!' 'Carleigh, I am right infront of you. You do not need to yell.' I say sternly, while my ears keep ringing. 'Matt! Can we goo??' Nash questioned impatiently. It was almost 7:00, and the sun was setting. My parents were in North Carolina, cause my aunt lives there. So I don't have a curfew.

'Carleigh and I can go if you want to, cause my parents are out if town till Wednesday.' I say with confidence. 'Yeah we'll go.' Matt says smiling at our hands that are still together. Suddenly my phone starts ringing in my pocket. I take it out with my free hand and see that it's my sister. 'Who's that?' Carleigh asks. 'It's Chey.' I reply. 'Oh okay.'

I hit the answer button and say hello. 'Are you okay? I haven't heard from you all day, even though I know you're with Carleigh I want to make sure you're alright.' 'I'm fine Chey. Sorry I haven't been texting you, I'll start. and Thanks got checking on me. I'm out with Carleigh and our neighbor and his friend. Hope y'all are having fun. love you.'

'Dont do anything that you're going to regret. I love you too. stay safe.

I hang up the phone and 3 pairs of eyes staring at me. 'what did she want?' Carleigh looked concerned. 'Nothing really, she just wants me to stay safe, and keep in contact with her.' 'Alright.' she replies. 'How about that 'secret' spot?' I say looking at Matt with a smirk. 'Lets go!' he says with tons of enthusiasm.
