Superhero
I’m a superhero.
I’m a whole different person at day and at night.
By day I’m a smiling, working civilian,
But late at night I’m fighting a villain.
I’m a superhero.
No one has a clue that outside I’m different,
Outside where they can’t see,
Who really is me.
I’m a superhero.
I work all day and never sleep,
I am awake all night,
Putting up with the villains wanting a fight.
I’m a superhero.
I hide away in a mask,
Protecting my secret identity
Saving the world from obscenity
I’m a superhero.
Everyone thinks I save the day.
But when I take off the disguise,
They are in for big surprise.
I’m not a superhero,
I don’t save the day.
I’m no super civilian.
In fact, I’m the villain.
