AN-This ones for you oceane3419 Also I love Jade and Jed so please don't hate me!

Jade Thirlwall was at her lowest point. Her boyfriend of over a year and her had ended it a couple of months back. Jade was a mess. She didn't want to lose him, but she wanted to make him happy. He was happier without her. They were both happier without the stress of a long distance relationship.

Jade right now kept wonder why. Why was she here? Why was she on this tour? Why was she alive? Why does she deserve all of this? Why is her life so fucked up? Why is all this happening to her now? Why isn't she happy? The 'why's' kept running through her head. Perrie pulled her from her thoughts.

"Come on Jeed lets go out." Perrie said hoping that she would at least get a small laugh out of her. Nothing. "You're going whether you want to or not." Perrie said firmly. Jade sighed.

Perrie pulled Jade out of the cocoon she had made out of her bed. She tossed her a shirt and pair of pants.

"If you don't put it on. I will." Perrie said giving her a serious look.

"Jerrie is real." Jade said with a small smile. Perrie could help but smile at her small friend. Jade changed in front of Perrie a common occurrence between the girls. Perrie couldn't help but notice how skinny her friend was looking. Truthfully she just looked wrecked. Mentally and physically. But this is the first time in awhile that Perrie has seen her friend this bad.

Perrie took her eyes away from Jade's body when Jade started off towards the door. There had been a knock at the door. Jade was greeted by her chipper two friends Jesy and Leigh-Anne. They smiled at the small girl in front of them before mouthing a thank you to Perrie. Jade needed some time to get out and to not have to worry about her life. Jade needed this.

The girls were on there way to Disneyland. They were in Paris. Jade had no idea which is why it was perfect. The other three knew there was no way Jade couldn't be happy in the happiest place on earth. When they entered a small smile appeared on Jade's face. They all pulled their hats down partially covering their faces.

Jade fluttered around like a butterfly. They were barely getting noticed, so seeing Jade this way was worth it to the three as long as people didn't start following them around.

Jade bumped into a man. She teetered like she was going to fall but he caught her. Strong hands holding her up. Jade gave him a once over. He was gorgeous in her eyes.

Tattoos flowed across his arms. His eyes were as blue as the ocean. His messy blonde hair was covered with a beanie, while his body was covered in a tight fitting sweatshirt and a pair of ripped jeans. He smiled down at her.

"I'm sorry." They said in unison. The brunettes friends were watching from the distance. He was the first person of the male gender to make her smile since Jed.

"I'm Maverick." He said while extending his hand out to her. Jade took it quickly.

"Jade." The blonde smiled once more.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He said gently. Jade couldn't help the smile that was growing along with the redness in her cheeks. Just then her friends swooped in to 'save' her. Jade let go of his hand. She gave a small smile to the man. "I should probably get going. Sorry for bumping into you."

"Don't be. It was my fault I wasn't paying attention." Maverick smiled at her before giving her a small wave walking off. The three girls Jade came to the park with all looked at her watching the boy intently.

"He's hot." Jesy commented. Jesy and Jade were the only single ones of the group. Jade hit her shoulder. "What? He is."

Through out the rest of the day spent at the park Jade was watching everything. She was hoping she would see him again. That hope was lost when the girls said it was time to leave. Again she bumped into someone. This time they both fell.

"Why do we keep meeting like this?" Jade immediately recognized the voice.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to knock you over." Maverick chuckled underneath her.

"Not a big deal. Plus you didn't get hurt. That's all that matters." Maverick flashed a bright smile. Jade couldn't help but smile back. She stood up before extending her hand towards him. He took it and she helped him up. "Thank you." He said softly. Jade nodded.

"Jadey come on." Perrie called, Jade looked over at Perrie giving her a look that said give me a minute.

"I know this may seem a little weird, but could I get your number." Maverick looked at the girl in front of him. There was no way he could say no. He was just about to ask for the same thing.

"I think you may have been reading my mind." Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne watched as Jade and the boy exchanged phones before they put their contact information in. They couldn't believe that Jade was so bold. Usually she was shy and stayed out of the way, but with him she was up front and confident. The girls liked this new side of Jade.

"There you go." Jade said handing him back his phone. "Text me later yea?" Maverick nodded.

"It was nice to meet you Jade." He said before he walked back to his friends. Jade said goodbye before returning to the girls. They looked at her shocked.

"Who are you and what have you done with Jade?" Jesy asked looking over the girl. Jade simply shrugged and walked back to the car Leigh-Anne had driven them to the park in. The girls watched before taking off after her.

"I happen to like this new Jade, Jes." Leigh-Anne commented. Jade just stayed quiet watching her phone. Perrie noticed and leaned to whisper into Jade's ear.

"He'll text you baba. Don't worry about it." Jade looked at her and smiled slightly. The car started off back towards the girls shared hotel.

Maverick went back to his friends. They were all watching him carefully. He hadn't taken a liking to anyone since his last girlfriend who had died three years ago. It was his fault. He drove drunk. He killed her and almost killed himself. They couldn't believe what was happening before their eyes. They were about to say something to him when he began to write out a text.

*I hope you made it home ok.*

He was currently in the car with his friends. They were going to their hotel. His phone buzzed. Jade had texted him back.

*Not back yet. But I'm glad you texted 🤓.*

Maverick smiled down at his phone. His best friend Ray looked over at him.

"What's got you so happy?" He asked. Maverick shrugged.

They got out of the car soon after.

That's when Maverick bumped into a certain someone.
