you stand there watching time pass us by. we lay on a blanket looking at the clear blue sky. i reach across and take your hand in mine. your hand is warm as the sun hitting down on me. as we lay next to each other i think of all the fun we have have together,running, laughing and smiling. i roll over and watch the clouds. i breathe in the summer air. i pull on your hoodie to get you to turn my way. i close my eyes wishing we could stay here forever. i heard the birds above us. we will have to leave soon, but we havent been left with enough time to lay here. all around us i heard laughter in the air, but we hear screams of children playing. being a part of this makes my heart fly with joy. though the sky is blue i smell water in the air. as we lay here on our faded blue blanket
