black rose

laying on the floor twirling the blood rose. happy as ever she looks at it again...its black as night. she rises from the floor, images fly past her. she was once a free spirit so light and free. now dressed in black she makes her way down the hall...avoiding eye contact she walks away from everyone. sits alone at lunch and in class. everything she touches turns black becoming ash...

                  falling to her knees

           her tears run black

                   ...black wings unfold

and embrace her. for that is the only

embrace she will ever have because everything

                          she touches dies

                                for she has

                                          the

                                       touch

                                               of

                                                            DEATH
