In order of when it appears:
It's truth: An exclamation.a sudden cry or remark E.g WOW, cry, shriek, yell.
Crook: No not a criminal, means sick or ill.
Old man: Father.
Sickie: A day off. Also used as chuck as sickie, which means take a day off from work when you're perfectly healthy!
Snags: A sausage.
Barbie: Not the doll, means a barbeque or grill.
Brekkie: Breakfast. The most vital meal of the day!
Dishin up: Serving to the table.
A cuppa: A cup of tea with milk.
Buzzing off the hook: A mobile phone ring incessantly and repeatedly.
Bestie: Bestfriend
Crush: A person with whom someone is infatuated. (I think people use this overseas but I added it anyways.
Pashed: Make out, in past tense.
Bloke: A person of male gender.
As cranky as a brown snake waking up from hibernation: Cranky meaning bad tempered. Brown snake is a snake which is aggressive and is responsible for 60% of Australian snake bite deaths. Spring and summer are when the majority of snake bites happen.
Sprung: Being caught doing something wrong.
Flat out: Busy
Spitting the dummy: Get very upset about something.
Duct tape: If it can't be fixed with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.
Crappy: Poor quality.
Old girl: In this story it is referring to the car.
Pickin: Picking.
Smackin: Smacking.
Spewin: Very angry, but can be referred to vomiting. (God damn that was blunt.)
B.O Killer: Deodorant.
Pommy Shower: Pronounced pom-ie, like poom poom, (I'm talking to all the dirty people here.) Means Using deodorant instead of taking a shower.
Ute: A truck.
Gob full: Normally meaning abuse verbally, usually justified, however. (This normally means swearing every bloody swear word.
Ear Bashing: Nagging.
Hooked up: 1 night stand or date.
Cranking up: Laughing or lol
Bloody: F*cking or some other swear word.
