Frozen Heart 9- Teams

"Oh! And after I beat up Mizuki, Iruka-sensei gave me his Hitai-ate, dattebayo.!" Naruto finished explaining to me what happened last night. I growled as we walked to the academy.

"Dammit! I knew I shouldn't have let you go with that jerk." I growled. "Next time I see him, I'll show him I keep promises." I threatened.

Naruto laughed nervously. "Kanna, I don't think your allowed to rip out his throat..."

I rolled my eyes, "No one would know it was me... I have my ways." I let out a cruel sadistic laugh as I thought about what would happen if I saw Mizuki again.

"You scary, Kanna-chan." Naruto commented, inching away from me.

I laughed out loud, the tone sounding practically evil. Once I calmed down I turned to Naruto with my normal apathetic look. "So Naruto, what did you say Mizuki attacked you for?" I asked.

"U-Uh, he said I pranked him or something, dattebayo. He was really crazy." He lamely excused. I sighed and grabbed Naruto's shoulder.

"Look Naruto, you don't have to tell me what really happened... but I know when your lying cause it's really obvious. Just know that if you can trust me, were friends." I said, my tone monotone. I tried to make it sound sincere but I'm sure Naruto know's what I mean.

"Yeah, thank's Kanna-chan." Naruto said with a nod.

We walked into the academy. I groaned when the only two open seats were near the front. All the rest didn't allow for Naruto and I to sit together. Naruto just grabbed my hand with a smile and pulled me to sit down. As we did a boy with his hair pulled up into a spiky pony tail made a comment.

"What are you doing here Naruto? Only genin are supposed to be here." He asked.

Naruto smiled and proudly pointed at his head band. "Can't you see, I've got a head and Shikamaru!" He said happily.

I sighed and turned to stare out in space. A few moments later, yelling pulled me out of my small trance. "Hey Sakura-chan!" Naruto said happily and stood up to greet the pink haired girl who talked to me yesterday.

An unfamiliar feeling rose up in my chest when I saw how happy Naruto greeted Sakura, like he liked her. It pissed me off almost and I hated it. I pushed it away immediately and washed all emotion away, as Sakura looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Hey, Kanna-san can we trade seats? I really wanna sit next to Sasuke-kun." She asked.

I couldn't get a word out before another blonde girl pushed Sakura, "No I want to sit next to Sasuke-kun! Kanna will trade with me." She yelled.

"Nuh-uh! Kanna-san is my friend Ino-pig; she'll trade with me!" She yelled. I furrowed my eyebrows, when the hell did that happen. I don't remember becoming Sakura's friend.

Before I could say anything to her, more and more girls started arguing. I started getting annoyed, my eyebrow twitching profusely. Just as I was about to snap at all of them and threaten to kick their asses, they all stopped at the same time.

"Hey, don't look at Sasuke-kun like that Naruto!" Sakura said angrily.

I turned in my seat to look at Naruto who was crouched on the table in front of a boy with black hair. They were both glaring at each other heavily. I took this chance to look at the black haired boy. This was who everyone liked? He's hardly anything to look at, especially how he looks when he glares all the time. If anything Naruto was probably a lot cuter than him...

Wait, what the hell?!

Before I could dwell more on what I just thought, Naruto and Sasuke's faces mushed together in a kiss. Both of them were surprised with wide open eyes, quickly they fell back from each other and started to cough. I felt something giddy bubble up in my stomach, and just before the girls in the room tried to hurt Naruto I let a laughter leave my lips. Not an evil one or a small chuckle; a real pure laugh left my lips.
