Yeah my dad might be sleeping and snoring but I couldn't ask for a better day. He makes me smile and he makes my days better. Him and I taking on the adventure of the great outdoors. It doesn't matter if you don't see anything or don't get anything, it matters about the people around you. When I shot my first deer 🦌 he was there, when I shot my first turkey 🦃 he was there. Here we are again trying to shot another turkey, key word "trying". But I couldn't ask for anything better, even if we don't see anything. The best moment is when we heard a turkey gobbling from up in the tree and we both turned and looked at each other with a surprised face. Here we are sitting here and I am enjoying every second with my dad hunting. He is my hunting buddy/partner and I wouldn't change that. I may go hunting with other people when I get older, but the feeling wouldn't be as strong as I feel when I am with my dad. He might play it tough and not cry if he ever reads this, but deep down inside I know he is a softy he just doesn't show it. I can hear the birds chirping and my dad snoring, but hunting with my dad is the best thing ever. Life comes once, live to the fullest, and remember bring a hunting buddy/partner because they make it 10 times better. (If of coarse you like hunting if you don't always remember having someone around that you love no matter what you are doing makes the experience more special than it really is).
