Nineteen Years Later

Nineteen years have passed since the battle at Hogwarts. Several parents stood at Platform 9 3/4 as they parted from their children. Another school year at Hogwarts was about to begin. Over the years, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Juliette remained in contact with each other maintaining their everlasting friendships. It was not a surprise to run into one another at the Ministry of Magic. All was well.

Everyone stared as the four and their families stood at the platform. Instead of staring at Harry Potter's scar, curt nods and smiles were given towards the four. Harry's scar never bothered him since Voldemort was alive.

Ron Weasley was the man known for his kindness and loyalty to anyone who he had cared for. Hermione Granger, for her intelligence and insightful ideas. Juliette Trails, who was appreciated for her bravery rather than cowardice of betraying Lord Voldemort during the darkest times. And of course, Harry Potter, who showed courage and boldness and was after all the reason for Lord Voldemort's downfall.

After the battle, people were lost of what to do. Especially the students at Hogwarts. Hermione and I decided to remain at Hogwarts to complete our education. Of course, Ron and Harry both immediately took the chance when the four of us were offered a spot in the Auror Office. Hermione and I thought it would be better off to see what our options were and to learn more about magic. It was definitely different studying in this new, but not new, reformed Hogwarts. It was a lot more different without the boys there to accompany us. And for the first time, we never engaged in a dangerous adventure at Hogwarts.

I believe a lot of people changed from the war. Death Eaters had nothing to fear now, but the looney ones were in Azkaban.

After the battle, Draco Malfoy had asked me to be his girlfriend. Gladly, I said yes, and I never regretted that decision. After the war, his original plan was to find a career, but decided to better his grades. Secretly, I knew he wanted to go back to Hogwarts all along. After all, it's been his home for so long, despite what he's said in the past. Plus, the last time the both of us were students at Hogwarts, we both worked strictly for the Dark Lord, fulfilling his orders. Now, we walked through the corridors with freedom, hand in hand.

Also, it gave us time to make our relationship stronger. It was nice having Draco around and not having to hide it from everyone.

Once my aunt died, Draco helped me a lot afterwards. If it weren't for him, I would've shut everything and everyone out from my life, and would've tried to cope with grief on my own. But with him by my side, he made it difficult for me to shut him out. In the moment, it made me hate him, but now, I'm glad that he pushed me in that way.

Once I finished my education, the Auror Office re-offered me a permanent job as an Auror. My decision was very easy, I obviously accepted. Hermione however, chose a different career, in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Since then, she has succeeded in her career and has became the Minister of Magic.

Draco had accepted a high position within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He's definitely made an impact and has regained respect from many citizens, change the idea of the Malfoy name.

Years later, I encouraged and pushed Draco to visit Andromeda and Tonks and Lupin's son, named Teddy. Draco ended up being an extremely happy uncle, visiting Teddy many times, taking me with him as well.

Speaking of 'family', I visited my parents once since the Battle of Hogwarts, and since then I have not made another attempt. I could never forgive them for who they fought with and disarming me at the Manor. Both of them have tried to reach out to me, but I've never written back.

Four years after the war, Draco and I got married on July 14th. He proposed to me and I gladly accepted. A few years later, we had two kids, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, who is eleven and Avery Myra Malfoy who is nine.

Three years after the battle, Harry and Ginny got married. Six years after the battle, Ron and Hermione got married as well. Harry and Ginny had three children: James, Albus, and Lily, and Ron and Hermione had two: Hugo and Rose. Albus, Hugo, and Scorpius were in the same year at Hogwarts and so were Avery and Lily.

As for Neville Longbottom, he pursued his passion for Herbology and became a Herbology Professor at Hogwarts. Of course, he married Hannah Abbot and they had lovely children, one of them entering school the same time as Avery.

I married Draco Malfoy three years after the battle, vowing to deal with him for the rest of my life. He also became my best friend when times were rocky, especially when my aunt had passed away. As we grew older, I only learned more and more about how similar and different we were from each other. That's probably how we became so perfect for each other.

All was well.
