Felicity sighs as she walks into the dollar general,she wasn't planning on coming here, let alone coming out of the house for that matter. But,because of her weird sudden cravings,It had to be done. Most people would be embarrassed to come in what she is wearing at the moment, a tank top, a pair of pink sweats,hair flowing freely ,and some Nike slides.
I mean, it's not like there was a dress code so, who cares. And she most certainly wasn't trying to impress anyone at the moment so, whatever.
At first when she walked in the store her mind was set on getting hot cheetos, but the sign that says 2 for 1$ ice cream makes her rethink her plan.She lands on ice cream and walks over to the freezer aisle and looks at her options. Her eyes wonder over the cookie dough but then reminds herself that she is on a diet, even tho that won't change a thing. Then she spots a Carton that says snickers crunch, she wants something sweet but, she also doesn't want a heart attack. She groans in frustration, why does there have to be so many options! She thinks to herself.
"Maybe because people like to have options." She hears a mans voice say.
She snaps her head toward the voice and sees a guy, a guy that is way too hot to be working in a dollar general might she add, standing there.Her eyes flick down towards the name tag and sees it reads Oliver.
"I said that out loud didn't I?" She says in embarrassment, her cheeks instantly flushing with color.
"Possibly." He says smiling.
She takes a moment to observe him, he wears tan slacks that match great with his skin tone. A dark navy blue polo that is a little tight around the arms,but shows off his muscles nicely. And some plain all black converse shoes.
His hair cut short, but not that short, it's just the right length. He has a little stubble on his face , but Felicity kinda likes it. The most attractive thing on his face are his eyes,there crystal blue, but you can see that dark specs in them.
She notices he is doing the same, she sees his eyes trail up and down her body appreciating the sight.
She smirks and he smiles and she instantly notices his cute dimples on his face.
"So is there anything I can help you with?" He says still holding the smile.
"Ice cream, any you suggest?"she says as he walks closer towards her, his Cologne infuriates her nostrils.
He smells like pine trees and something fresh,she can't really put it into words, but the smell comforts her.
" well if your trying to let go of stress, I suggest the plain chocolate, but if you are just looking for something to snack on, go with the mint chocolate chip." He says looking down at her.
"Mint chocolate chip ice cream just happens to be my favorite type." She says smiling looking like a cheesy idiot.
"Oliver." He says reaching his hand out to shake.
"Felicity." She says back, taking his huge hand and shaking it.
For a while they both just stand there, looking into each others eyes. Both smiling,looking like idiots.
Finally, he breaks the moment and says "welp, if you need anything else, let me know." He says while pulling out his phone and handing it to her.
It takes a minute but she soon realizes he is inferring her to put her number in his phone.she smirks at his antics but reaches for it and puts in her number.
It hits her that a guy, she finds attractive Is hitting on her first.
She then hands him the phone, a ridiculous smile on his face, and reaches in the freezer and grabs her ice cream.
" thanks for your help." She says, her smile beaming at him.
"Anytime." He says winking at her.
She then strides off towards the checkout lane, his eyes following after her.
After she pays for her ice cream, her phone buzzes in her pocket and she takes it out to look at it.
2:39 am
Unknown: hey, is this Felicity?
She smiles at the text and decides to reply.
Me: why yes it is Oliver, worried I might've given you a false number.🙂
Unknown: not anymore.😁
She smiles, and pockets her phone.
She has a feeling this won't be the last time she comes here.
