Sticky notes

Felicity loves Italian food , like absolutely loves.

So when she finds out her favorite Italian restaurant (the only Italian restaurant in star city)is out of business and closing down  , she practically has a breakdown.

Now you might be thinking , Felicity , why are you freaking out? It's just some Italian food.

Well to her it's not just Italian food. To her it's her favorite midnight food run restaurant , and her go-to take out dinner , it's her favorite stress eating meal!

Not to mention the food that they had tasted almost exactly like the Italian food back in Vegas. That was practically the only food her mother could get her hands on and that was only because they had a very giving Italian chef in the casino her mom worked in.

So when she moved to star city , it felt like she had a little piece of Vegas with her there.

   But now , that little piece is gone.

And when she finds out said news she's in the foundry , looking at the locals news while the boys spar on the mats.

And oh honey she nearly scares Oliver and dig out of their skin when she lets out a panicked scream  when she reads the article. 

And of course the boys rush over to her with a wild expression on their faces looking around for something or someone to hit.

But when no one appears the worried looks fall from their faces and is replaced with confusion.

Speaking his thoughts Oliver asks " Felicity what's wrong?"

Shaking her head back and forth fast she rushes out " That was all I had!"

Both dig and Oliver pass each other looks before digs walks over the computer to look at what the hell she's screaming about .

As Dig reads more and more into the article the more and more confused he looks.

Pulling back from the computer in question he says " Felicity it's just an article about Andiamo's  shutting down."

The reminder makes her want to cry even more which makes dig out a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Oliver still standing there puzzled , says " do you wanna talk about it?"

Diggle shoots him a glare and he shrugs defensively.

She sighs before saying " Andiamo's was like a part of home for me, and - it helped me through a lot of tough times."

Both Oliver and dig let out soft "oh's" before nodding for her to continue.

"I guess It was my anchor , and I  know it sounds foolish and silly but-"
She starts but is cut off by Oliver taking two big strides towards her and placing his hand on her other shoulder.

"It's not stupid Felicity , everyone has got an anchor , and everyone's anchor is different." Oliver says soothingly .

She nods and gets her emotions in check, dismissing the boys before going back to work.

When the night ends  and she's lying comfortably in her bed watching tv , she continues to try and ignore the situation .

But when she gets a knock on her door at 3:44 am, grabbing her bat under her bed doesn't skip her mind.

And when she looks through the peep hole in her door and sees Oliver standing there she lets out a sigh of relief and opens the door to Oliver .

She only notices the see through bag that contains two take out boxes when a familiar smells hits her nose.

Oliver raises the bag and says " I come bearing food."

She eyes it suspiciously before letting Oliver in .

Once the door is closed she asks "watcha got there?"

Chuckling , he sets down the bag on the island and plucks a sticky note off the side, handing it to her after.

Looking at it , she reads.

Hey Felicity , it's your momma ,Oliver had told  me that you were feeling home sick and asked me to get some food that Liam used to cook for us. Just know your never alone, love, momma.

Ps. I heard he flew all the way out here in his private jet just to come get this

Smiling Felicity looks up from reading the note at him , and he's finds anything other but her face to look at.

She places the sticky note down carefully before curving around the island to grab his face and kiss him.

And oh baby it wasn't just a peck ,okay, let's just say they never got around to eating the food, but it made for a great microwave meal.
