Chapter 6

Cameron's POV
I open my eyes a little and the surrounding is blurry and I close it again. After some minutes, I open my eyes gently and I see a little clearly than before. It seems I'm in a hospital but why? Then I remember when I almost slipped and fell because of the banana peel, I must have fainted and it seems Chen brought me here. Almost falling made me remember one of the most tragic moments of my life and I want that chapter remain to  closed. I breath in and exhale then I stand up from the hospital bed. I walk out of the room and I see Chen walking towards me and he just seems calm.
"How are you feeling?"
"Much better and thank you Mr Lay for your help"
"Let's go back to the office"
"Are we at hospital?"
"No. It's just a part of my building so that when stuffs like this happens it will be easier for us all."
"That's nice". We both walk towards an elevator and I wanted to press the open button of the elevator but his hand touches mine and I put my hand behind me and look down. He presses the button instead and the doors open. We walk inside and the doors closes back. He also presses the seventh number button on the wall. We begin moving upwards.
"Are you afraid of heights?"
"Yes. I'm really really afraid of height."
"Hmm.  Okay" he says nodding
I just nod. Then I remember Chen knew of my fear also and what if he suspects me? No way there are thousands of people with the same fear.
"By the way what's your name?" He asks. My heart begins beating faster. What to do? Oh no. I can't tell him my name.
"I'm Francis." I say smiling and looking at him.
"Okay." He says kinda disappointed. Wait doesn't he trust the fake Cameron out there. This is too much. The elevator stops and the doors open. We walk back to the office and I see Shail and King around with the cloth materials and other accessories. But I couldn't find Mayank and Jude anywhere. Lay walks past me and goes to his office. Shail and King look at me and run towards me
"Ohh Cameron are you okay? We hear what happened." Says King touching my arms and hand
"Yes I'm fine and thanks for caring." I say smiling
"Of course we are friends" Shail says patting my shoulder.
"By the way, have you seen Mayank and Jude?"
"Ohh they left when they heard what happened to you and they said you should just wait here so when they come back you guys can start off"
"Oh thanks" I walk and see my bag on my desk. Wonder who kept it here for me? Could it be Lay. I open it and bring out my phone. I see 5 missed calls from Francis and 2 new Line messages. I open the messages and they are from Francis too
"I'M MEETING LAY TODAY ALSO."
"HE SAYS HE WANNA GET PERSONAL TODAY SO PLEASE STAY IN TOUCH SO I CAN ASK YOU SOME QUESTIONS IF NEEDED".
      Get personal. I hope it's not what I'm thinking. I mean no Chen can't do that just after one date. But he could since he changed so much. I reply back
"SORRY I'M LATE I HAD SOMETHING TO TAKE CARE OF. I'M HERE WHEN YOU NEED ME"
I put my phone back in my pocket. I walk to the girls to tell them something extremely important.
"Excuse me, please I need a little favour from both of you."
"Yeah anything." Shail say looking up at me then King also.
"Please can you start calling me Francis from now on? Just for some weeks."
'But why? Cameron fits you better"
"It's just I'm having some personal issues and it would help if he start calling me Francis just for the main time."
"Why Cameron? Why do you want to change your name to Francis?" Jude asks in a high tone as he walks in with Mayank with the cloth material and other stuffs.
"Thank goodness your back. Please start calling me Francis. It's just some issues I'm having. I would appreciate."
"Care to share it?" Asks Jude
"It's personal" King says it instead
"Uhhhhh" says Mayank
"Alright." says Jude.
    Lay leaves his office and looks at us and stops then he walks towards us.
"It's seems you have everything ready just remember tomorrow is the deadline and I hope I'm going to be impressed." He says and continues going. I think his going to meet Francis. Gosh. Time to start the clothe.

Francis POV
I'm already at the field where he said we should meet and I'm sitting on the grass. I then remember the kiss on the cheek. I can't fall for him no matter what. I know Cameron likes him. I can't do that to my best friend. I must end this earlier before it becomes too complicated. But I'm enjoying his company. So frustrating.
"Cameron?" I look beside me and see Lay smiling at me holding two cotton candy. He walks towards me and gives me one and I smile then he sits beside me. It's milk flavour. I like strawberry flavour. I just keep looking at it.
"You don't like it?"
"Uhmm...?"
"It was your favourite when we were little. I guess you must have outgrown it."
"No no no. I still love it I was just thinking of something." I begin licking it while admiring the view. After we both finished, I think it's time to tell him the truth.
"Isn't this view beautiful?"
"Chen? I have something to tell you"
"Yes what is it? Me too I have also but go first"
"I... I... I... I'm... not... . I'm not Ca..." then his phone rings.
"Excuse me" he answers his phone and stands up and talks about business I think.
"Cam i gotta go. Maybe next time you can tell me. It's business. See you bye love."
"Bye Chen" then he goes.
"I'm such a bitch. If i was just a little faster"
