Chapter 4

Cameron POV
Francis reads what I wrote down about myself and Lay since it may be of help later on. It is 8:00 am. I put my book and pencil in my bag and take my cell phone and put it in my pocket.
  "Okay, it's time I go for work. I hope everything works out well."
"Trust me it will."
"Here take my phone incase he decides to call" I say taking my phone out of my pocket and giving it to him.
"Yeah right" Francis takes the phone from me. "Here take mine" he says giving me his phone and I take it and put it in my pocket.
"All right see ya" I say waving and leaving my room. I go downstairs and see my mom all ready dressed.
"Morning mom"
"Morning. I have an appointment this morning and have a date this night."
"What? Who? Really?" I say really surprised because it's been long since my mom went on a date.
"So I won't be back until midnight. So take care."
"Okay bye mom and Francis is in my room"
  I say leaving the house. I take a taxi and head to Ahart. When I arrive, I use the stairs because I couldn't wait for the elevator anymore. I reach the office and everyone is there discussing.
"Morning everyone."
"Morning" they all replied at once.
"I hope I ain't late"
"No no. I just came like 10 minutes ago" said Jude smiling.
"Thank goodness."  I say walking to my seat, dropping my bag on the desk and sitting down.   Steve walks in smiling.
"Is everyone here?"
"Yeah" says Mayank
"Alright, starting today we are gonna have a fashion competition. You will be divided into groups, the girls and the boys. The deadline is in the next two days. The judge is Mr Lay. He is gonna be busy today so he decides to this competition to test our fashion intern minds." Steve says smiling and looks at us. "What are you doing looking at me? Start 'gurls'!!!" He says and walks out of the office.
        It seems Lay is still going to meet me today. I hope Francis takes care of it. Mayank, Jude and I gather around my desk. I'm with my book and pencil while Mayank and Jude are with their tablet.
"Okay, what do you think should be our concept?"
"I don't know" says Mayank
"Cameron you're good at this. Do you have any ideas?"
"Uhmmmm, why don't we try a mysterious concept? Like a moon and earth concept. Don't really know how to explain it".
"I'm in" says Jude
"So hastily"  I say surprised
"I'm in too. Unless we are gonna sit down here and keep cracking our brains out I think we better go with your ideas" says Mayank
"A moon and earth concept. Hmm. Why don't we try the drawing?"
"How about we choose colours brown,  white and navy blue ?" I ask
"Sounds nice." Says  Jude
"Should only draw the male or female dress code or both?" Asks Mayank
"I think the male is better" I say
"Then we go with it" says Jude.
  Why are they just agreeing with all my ideas, strange. We start drawing the clothes and concluded with pair of trousers, brown at the front and white at the back of the trousers and a full moon on both knee sides and a white long sleeves with half moon design at the front and at the back and navy blue is the colour at the wrist of the long sleeves. We just have to buy the materials and start.
               I then remember the meeting of Lay and Francis. I look at my wristwatch and see the time is 11:30am. I hope everything goes well.

Francis POV
I'm still in Cameron's room playing some video games with his laptop and I get a message in Cameron's phone saying he is already at the coffee shop. I look at the time and it's still 11:30am. Damn, he went too early. Oh well. I shower and wear some of Cameron's  clothes. I wear jeans and a blue polo. Hmm his clothes suit me so well. I take his phone and switch off the lights in his room and the house before leaving.
      I finally arrive the coffee restaurant behind Ahart. I enter the restaurant and I get a message from my Facebook asking if I'm dressed in jeans and blue polo and I reply yes. Then I see an Asian guy walking towards me smiling and gosh is he cute. I can't believe this is Chen. He has grown so well.
"Hi." Chen says
"Hi" I say in a little voice.
"Come with me." We walk and take a seat near the window of the restaurant. He just looks at me smiling and I feel so shy and  small in front of him.
"It's been long since we last met, I think since we were kids right?" He still says smiling and looking directly at me.
"Yeah I mean. You just vanished no one could find you anywhere, what happened?"
"Its a long story but i will explain as time goes on" he seems friendly and good but what was Cameron saying that he was strict.
"So how has it been? Your parents? How are they?" Suddenly his face expression hardens
"My mom is dead since we were kids. I thought you supposed to know. I told you.'
"Ohh I'm sorry. You know it's been long. So I had forgotten. I'm sorry again"
"Don't take it to serious. I know you would have forgotten after all its been long."
    We ordered coffee both Americano. We drank and discussed a lot. We left the restaurant and decided to stroll a bit. We sat down at a field and stared at a nearby lake.
"You know I really missed you. I kept thinking about you when I left and I'm happy that I found you though many different people answered the same name as yours on Facebook. It was difficult." He says laughing a little bit. He then moves his hand and places  it on top mine. And he faces me and I face him. I swallow saliva and He moves closer to my face then turn my face but he still kisses my cheek. Immediately my heart races faster.
"I know we just met but can we date? he says kneeling in front of me. I'm so shocked right now. Cameron what do I do? God help me. What will Cameron think when I tell him this.
"Okay. Let's try but I'm not really good at relationships" I say looking down and shy
"I don't care. I just hope this works" he moves closer and then hugs me. My heart beats faster again.
