Chapter 8

Cameron's POV
Great, just great. What are we going to do right now? It's just 20 minutes before the show starts and we are stuck in traffic jam.
I look at the rear mirror of the car and see that Chen is really restless and I know this fashion show is really important to him. I look out of the car window and see how long the cars in this traffic jam is and it seems this traffic is really gonna last. I see an elderly lady driving a scooter and I. opens the door slightly due to little space between cars.
"Hey, where are you going?"
"I will be back in a while Mr Lay". I say closing the door and then running towards the elderly lady.
"Excuse me, please excuse me" the lady stops her scooter and looks at me.
" How may I help you? Is something wrong?"
"Thanks for stopping. Actually I have a little problem, my friend has an emergency and we are stuck in this jam and I hope you could give him a ride."
"Oh no. Where is he going?"
"It's not to far from where it's at 22 Elph Street."
"I'm passing through there. Get him, hurry. No one should be late on a special occasion."
"Thank you Ma'am."
I hurry back to the car and I open the back door of the car.
"Mr Lay we gotta hurry, I found someone who can take you to where the fashion show is being held. Please hurry."
"Who is taking me?"
"That elderly lady over there" I say pointing ahead and he sees her.
"I'm not going anywhere not in that."
"Well you have to since the show is important to you" I say grabbing his arm and dragging him to the scooter.
"Here he is Ma'am."
"What a fine young man, sit let's go."
"Please Sit Mr Lay."
He sits down and the lady drives off. I smile and rush back into the car.

      After about 30 minutes, I arrive at the place of the fashion show and I see Chen walking out discussing with some men and women. I still stay seated in the car and I see him look up and he smiles a little bit when he sees me but he stops immediately and he tells his colleagues goodbye and walks towards the car and he sits at the passengers seat just beside me.
Why didn't he just sit at the back? I drive off heading back to the company. After a while he begins looking at me but when I'm about to look back he turns immediately.
"Francis right?"
"Ye... yes Mr Lay"
"Thanks very much for what you did. I really appreciate it."
"No problem Ch..  Mr Lay. " I say smiling anxiously. He looks at me in a strange manner. Then he brings out his phone and calls someone.
"Cameron, can we meet today? I'm free. Where are you right now."
My heart rates speeds up immediately and I begin to fear. What if Francis tells him the truth. I trust him he won't do it because of what I told him last night.
"Yeah. I know the place alright. I'll call you when I'm there. Okay bye." He cuts the call and puts the phone back in his pocket. I arrive at the company and I drive the car to the parking lot and stop the car. What a long drive. We both come out of the car and I lock the car and give him back his car keys. He goes somewhere else while I rush back to the company to see how far Mayank and Jude are going.
    I arrive at the office and Mayank sees me and shouts my name and runs to hug me.
"Thank goodness you're back. I think we are lost in this. We really need your help. Both Jude and I just gave up when we couldn't do anything anymore"
"Don't worry I'm here. Where is Jude by the way?"
"He went to get coffee since he was feeling really sleepy."
I then help in the design. Hope Francis won't make me sad when he meets Chen today.

   Francis POV
After I received the call from Chen. I wasn't really glad because I was getting tired of this. We are to meet later in front of my workplace. It was 4:30pm by the time my shift was done and I change into some casual clothes and walk outside with my friends.
"Come on Francis. Let's go have some drinks"
"Sorry guys. I have an appointment."
"Come Francis. It's been long since we all went out as a group. Is something wrong you have been distant lately?"
"No everything is fine just tired."
"Okay bye. Don't forget to call me when you arrive home." Says Henry a new coworker I kinda gave him my number since his new here. But I don't have any relationship with him weird.
"Okay bye" they go. When I turn around, I see Chen standing looking at me with anger and a little disappointment.
"Who are you really and where is the real  Cameron?"
"Look Chen, let me explain."
"You don't have to say anything just tell me the truth."
I look down really sad and I'm sorry Cam but the truth was gonna come one way or another.
"My real name is Francis and the real Cameron walks in your office as Francis."
"What? You're telling me that Francis is Cameron. Why did he do this?"
"He was scared and didn't know how to approach you."
Chen just walks out and I know he is going back to the company to meet Cam. Oh no I should call him. I take out my phone and call Cameron but it's switched off. Oh no what to do. I hurry as well but as I was running at hit someone and fall down and I sprain my ankle and I look up and see its Henry looking down at me and he bends down to help me stand up. Why is he here? I thought he had gone.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Just my ankle. It hurts though."
"Don't worry." He says then suddenly a car drives in front of us and he carries me in bridal style and opens the door and drops me in and he sits down beside me as well. Where is he taking me? But I couldn't talk. Wait he is this rich and he is working?
