A L L I E

I sat at the coffee shop, scrolling through twitter. I tried to ignore the ongoing war between Aria and Sophie's fans and the Sidemen fandom. Apparently the Sidemen insulted us in a video, which wasn't all that surprising, honesty. I hadn't actually watched any of the video itself, but people in this war made sure I knew exactly what they said.

I felt bad for Aria, I heard her crying last night, and she had an anxiety attack. There were a lot of insults in the video, and in my opinion it shouldn't have been posted. The insults directed at me, as I'd heard, were not that bad apparently. They called me emo, which wasn't an insult to me at all. Hell yeah I was emo, I bleed Fall Out Boy. But the fans decided to take it to another level.

Of course the Sidemen fandom also took it too far, they fought back the minute someone took a shot at the guys. It was all immature and I tried to not let myself get caught in the crossfire. I planned to speak to Simon about the video and the war when he showed up. If he did show up.

I took a sip of my coffee and read a thread of tweets,

@helenaxmcr: the Sidemen are immature imbeciles and need to take the video down. Not cool.

That was a perfectly reasonable tweet, I thought.

In reply to Helena:
@sxdemenarelyf: the three sluts need to take their entire channel down

That tweet came out of nowhere, I took a sip of my drink. I actually found this drama a bit funny, even though they were talking about me and my friends.

In reply to Rosetta:
@maddiexrose: @sxdemenarelyf @helenaxmcr half the Sidemen fandom calls them daddy yet our girls are the sluts?

In reply to Maddie:
@sxdemenarelyf: @maddiexrose why do you even like them they aren't even talented

Ouch.

In reply to Rosetta:
@maddiexrose: Allie can play six instruments, Sophie's got broadway talent and Aria was just invited to Caspar Lee's birthday party over twitter.

In Reply to Rosetta:
@maddiexrose: Allie has more musical talent in one hand than JJ has in his whole body

Okay, maybe that was a bit far, seeing as I actually liked where JJ was headed with his music. Sure, he wasn't the best person in the world, and he had moment where he was so rude, but he had enough dedication to write more than fifteen songs, and that deserved respect.

Of course, playing the bass required a lot more talent than shouting Lamborghini fifty million times in a row.

In Reply to Maddie:
@sxdemenarelyf: exCUSE ME! That bitch is all autotune and fake demos, she doesn't know how to write a song and will never make it in the music world.

Well. That hurt. I mean it was true. Not the autotune or fake demos part, that wasn't true, I actually did record all that by myself, and I don't even know how the hell autotune works. But the fact that I will never make it in the music world, and that I didn't know how to write struck home. It was true. I wasn't a good writer, and I wasn't going to be a big music icon like I dreamed.

I clicked out of the conversation before my mood got worse, I didn't want this meeting to be glum. "Meeting" made it sound like this was a business thing. It could be a business thing, the main reason we were doing this is so we can see if a collab would work.

"So, this is it" I look up at the voice. Simon was stood there awkwardly with a cup of coffee in his hands. He was a lot taller than I remembered.
