I tapped my foot nervously against the hardwood floor, flickering my eyes at the door and the clock every now and then. I had invited Simon over to do the collab, and I was pretty nervous. I was preparing myself for the worst. Simon wasn't all that bad, but I was a generally anxious person, and this stuff worried me. What if I said something completely psychotic and scared him away? What if the collabs don't go over well?

This internet drama was getting to my head. Was this collab going to make everything just that much more complicated? What would the fans think? God, some would assume we'd be dating, and that would lead to hate on my end, I knew it.

When Simon did show up, half an hour late I might add, I was a frantic mess. I had tried playing the drums to ease myself, but I was shaky and kept missing the notes. I was planning on doing a drum tutorial for Trade Mistakes by Panic! At The Disco, but that idea went down the drain and I resorted to scrolling mindlessly through twitter and finding more fandom drama.

God, it was like the two groups were rivals bent on killing each other. Which also meant Aria, Sophie, me and all of the Sidemen, were stuck in the crossfire.

The Sidemen deserved it.

They deserved everything that came to them. Especially now that Vikk tried to lie in the interview with Keemstar.

"I've been talking with the boys, by the way" Simon said, tapping one of the drumsticks on the snare drum. He insisted I showed him my instruments, which luckily I had organized before he came over. They were a mess last week, guitars were laid out everywhere, my bass was missing and the drum set was in pieces around the room.

"Yeah?"

"We think we should apologize, face to face" Simon said, hitting the ride cymbal and then quickly stopping it when he realized he made such a loud sound. He put the drum stick down awkwardly, "Like, we were thinking of inviting you guys over to our house, it'd be maybe half an hour of us proving we're sorry."

"I don't know" I sigh, "I mean, I just don't care if you guys are sorry or not."

"Why wouldn't you care?" Simon looked a bit offended, "We're actually trying to be nice for once."

"You guys don't get it" I say, putting down the bass I was mindlessly tuning, "I mean, not to sound emo, but you don't get it, you don't understand how hard it is to forgive a person who can so easily spit out insults at you, especially someone who used to be your friend."

"I mean-"

"I'm not completely opposed to the idea though" I cut him off, "Maybe an apology would make the girls feel better. Or at least Aria, Sophie would be completely bitch mode," I was talking mostly to myself at the end of that.

"We want to make things right between you guys and us. Between the Sidemen and the Peng Bros." Simon says trying to make his point by changing the his tone of voice.

"Yeah to make things right..." I strain.

"Look Allie, I'm very sorry for what happened on Twitter and on Youtube and I'm actually so sick of something, we, the Sidemen did and how it's affecting everyone's view on us. I want to be seen as a regular lad, people find funny and that does Youtube because he cares about his fans." Simon expresses.

"Simon I-"

"I don't want to be looked at this way Allie. You aren't the only one suffering and I'm sorry we caused you and your friends this, but we aren't exactly smug about what we did right now." He finishes.

After that the silence between us is so heavy that you could hear a fly buzzing stuck behind the curtains. This isn't about me and him. This isn't about my mistakes and he isn't surprisingly using this as an excuse to be upset so just get through this stupid video and let's do this.

Soon enough we decide to do a 'What's that object?' challenge since I so happened to have about billion instruments and everything in my room.

"Hurry up with the thingy Allie!" Simon was yelling.

"Sorry this is really heavy." I fake sigh while he was blindfolded. I take his hand and make him stick one finger out and let him touch one string from Aria's ukulele.

"This has to be a guitar, tell me it's a guitar." He says taking off his blindfold confident.

"You said the same thing about the bass guitar and I let you feel a lot of it." I laugh.

"That's a mini guitar in'it?" He points to the uke.

"Jesus, it's a ukulele."

"Tobi's recently been playing a bit, you play?" Simon asks.

"Nah mate" I reply, "I would never. It's too easy"

Soon enough we finish the video and I send him the footage. For my video we chose to do a "guess the song" which was entertaining because we had very different tastes in music. I was quite surprised when he guessed the Linkin Park song. I showed him it years ago, and to this day I thought he wasn't even listening when I played it.

"Are you at all nervous about the videos?" Simon asked out of the blue. I took my attention away from the computer where I was exporting my video. He continued, "I mean, cause of all the shit going on"

"Yeah, truthfully"

"Then we totally don't have to upload them if you don't want. We can wait for the drama to unfold and then do it after?" Simon said. I sighed. There was no use in waiting. Maybe the video would give fans the idea that we were fine?

"No, let's post them, I need a video for this week anyways"

"Alright, cool" Simon said, getting up from where he was sitting, "So about the fandom war, you don't like... listen to anything they say on twitter right? Cause you know it's a bunch of possessive thirteen year olds saying shit"

"I know" I fake a smile, "It doesn't really bother me"

Lie.

"Oh, well I best be off. Don't worry about it, it'll all be over soon." He half smiles and leaves the apartment.

Wow you actually believed me this time too? You shouldn't have.

A/N; I'm really sorry about like how behind everything is and there are a shit ton of messages coming later because I finished this chapter for Allie after I did like 3 chapters. There are like explanations so sit tight. Here's a chapter.
