Nightmare. It was just all a nightmare. Or so I hoped. Instead of waking up in my hospital bed, I woke up in a cell with four other women. Two of them hit me last night with a boot so many times I couldn't keep up. My eye is swollen shut and my nose is covered in dried up blood. It's already eight in the morning meaning I stayed for around six hours in this cell with these girls.
I never thought I would truly become a person of interest n in these murders. Why? They said it this morning when I overheard them.
"We looked it up. Yep she's that girl back in 2005 who brought in another group of kids. She went on saying they were children part of this cult. Turned out to be that crazy fucker Insu. The children were all put in a orphanage all but her. She went to live with her sister. But I bet all my money she's the real killer behind these murders. Think about it. Two of her 'best friends' are dead. And the others were part of the cult children that got away as well." One of the officers said shooting daggers at me. He flipped me off as I just sat there watching the two police officers talk about me. Like I wasn't just ten feet away from them.
"But what about the others. They weren't part of the cult. Some of these people weren't even here in South Korea at the time. One of them went to school in China. Some of these don't make sense-" The other police officer who seemed a little heisted to take his fellow officer's side was cut off by the now excited officer.
"That's it though! She goes black out as Mr. Ha says and she doesn't remember anything. Almost like that crazy slasher movie." I stopped listening to them after that.
I would know if my own body was killing someone. I've never blacked out, passed out, in my whole live until the black rose killer came about. I found my eyes traveling to a pair of shoes coming into the building. They were nice looking. I looked up to the man. He looked like he was in his mid thirties with a freshly shaved face. His hair wasn't anything special, but a dark shade of hazelnut hair color.
"I need to speak to Yoon Jiwoo now. Please get her-" He spoke at the two officers. They both stood up nodding like this was their boss. Looking at his style I wouldn't see him as a boss, more like a coworker.
"Yes sir. Right away." The main officer that was talking about me open my cell to jerk me out.
"You're hurting my arm." I cried out.
"Good." He snapped back. I was pulled into a unfamiliar room where only a table and two chairs sat. I was sat down and left alone in the room for a few minutes before that man walked in. In his hands was a stack of folders and in his other was a bag of fast food. He threw the bag of fast food my way before a lady brought in a soda for me.
"I know some of these asses don't feed you guys in here. Eat that, it's on me." He said flashing me a smile. I opened the bag to see a hamburger, chicken nuggets, and french fries. Even though I don't like hamburgers the warmth and smell of the food made me dig in. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I ate the whole hamburger in just a few mintues.
"So Jiwoo. Can I call you Jiwoo?" He asked pulling out his chair. I popped up the soda nodding. "Okay Jiwoo. I'm Detective Ha, but please call me Daesuk." He replied sitting his folders around. I stayed still just watching his every move. I watched as he rolled up his sleeve showing me his designer watch. Who is he really?
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm going to let you finish eating first before I start asking some questions. You'll understand why later." He smiled pointing at my chicken nuggets and fries. I just stared at him for a few minutes before going back to eat. Once I was done eating my stomach felt better, but my head and heart still were hurting.
"Okay Jiwoo. The first thing I'm going to say is I know you are not the killer, or even helping for the killer. The most reason why I asked them to take you in was to watch over you. It seems like this killer might have an obsession with you, and over this cult. Truth be told I don't think he's part of the children that escaped with you." He pulled out a folder showing me a picture.
"Me?" I pointed to the scared girl standing next to the two boys.
"The kids that escaped with you were named, Kim Dong Hyun, Cheong Min Jun, Ho Ji Hun, Jeon Jeongguk, Wang Heon Woo, Byun Jong Soo, Kim Jae Sun, Park Ye Seul, Ahn Eun Ha, Lee Mi Na, Sung Jung Hee, and you Yoon Ji Woo." He said. My mind went crazy.
"And where are they?" I asked.
"Well Kim Dong Hyun is dead. Minjun, Jihun, and Junghee live overseas so they are fine. Mina is in the hospital recovering after her stab wound-" I cut him off by crying out. "She's okay Jiwoo. Eunha took her own life three years ago, Ye Seul you might know as your friend Lena, or Pinky. Jaesun, Jongsoo, Heonwoo, and Jeongguk all live here still." I found myself wanting to ask one question.
"What about Lein?" I asked moving the picture away from me.
"His name was Kim Tae Hyung, and he was killed seven years ago. Found dead in a abandoned building homeless people use to hide in. We never found out who killed him, but he must have had a enemy because his body was unrecognizable."
My mouth dropped open. There was no more Lien. He couldn't be the killer, so were my friends right. Was Jungkook the killer this whole time?
"So who do you believe the killer is?" I asked. I watched as he stopped flipping through his papers to look up at me. He let out a sigh before answering me. Looking at his expression he didn't seem to want to answer the question at all.
"Your friend Jungkook. When we took your hospital gown we found spots of his blood on it. Two of the females nurses blood was on your gown plus a male's blood type. We took the sample down to the lab and they confirmed it was indeed Jungkook's. Your friend Jungkook is in another prison cell as well waiting." He spoke.
No....Jungkook can't be the killer. He's my friend. He won't kill the people who escaped with us. Right?
⚫️〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰⚫️ I know Jungkook isn't shown most of the time but he's coming...and so is the killer 😈
BTW! My favorite Norwegian show Skam might get a American remake. Now I'm a huge HUGE fan of the original and only the original. I don't know if the North American remake will do well. And if you don't know what Skam is....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
