Anger.
Anger was all he could feel.
No-one was worthy of him, they should all just-
He shook his head, trying to clear his mind. This wasn't him. He had nothing to be angry about. He repeated that over and over in his head. It wasn't Notch's fault. Tears welled up in his blank white eyes. What had he become?
As the bright sunset disappeared, he felt energy running through him. Everything he had just been thinking to hold on from the edge evaporated, replaced by power and anger. A spider jumped out from behind him, but he whirled around to face it in an instant. Fire flared in his hand and hit the spider, reducing it to ash. A circle of mobs surrounded him, but he turned, flared his hand, and lightning struck down on them. One thing was left- an iron sword that one of the zombies had been holding. He took it in his hand and it glowed red-hot, then blue. Diamond. With his new sword in one hand and a fireball in the other, he smiled to himself. This was going to be fun.
As the morning light shone through the clouds, Herobrine lay on the cold stone floor of the cave that he has made his base. He clicked his fingers, but no fire came. He sorted through his memories, trying to make sense of the last night. Was it all a dream? He had felt so powerful, like he could take on all of Notch's army at once. Hearing footsteps approaching the cave he scrambled to his feet, grabbing his sword off the wall. Light flooded in as the man placed a torch on the wall and spotted Herobrine. As the man's expression turned to fear, he remembered that his eyes were an empty white colour. By reflex, as the man turned to run Herobrine leaped forward and thrust his sword towards him. He looked on in horror as the man fell to the ground, blood pooling around him. He ran around the cave, collecting spider webs and pressing them onto the man's wound trying to stop the blood, but in his heart he knew there was no hope. His reaction had just come so quickly, he had hardly had time to think what he was doing. The stench of blood filled Herobrine's nostrils as he fell to his knees.
