Herobrine limped forward, his muscles screaming with every step. For days he had just been walking in the same direction, just trying to find something. Anything. Maybe someone could tell him what was wrong with him, help him.
No-one will help you. He shook his head. They would, there were good people probably in the next village that would-
You'll kill them all.
He froze.
You know it's true. You can't control your powers.
He started to run.
The sun goes down and Poof! There goes all of your humanity.
He looked at the horizon. Just minutes until nightfall. Suddenly, a pain flared up from his ankle! Glancing behind him, he saw a soldier standing with his bow raised. He took a long look at Herobrine's white eyes, but stood his ground.
"Raise your hands if you want to live. I don't know who- what you are but if you try anything I will have no regrets about putting this arrow in your head."
He looked up. Sundown.
Reaching down, he pulled the arrow out of his leg. A gaping wound lay in it's place, but he ignored it. The soldier readied his bow, but did not fire.
"Put your hands up!"
He narrowed his eyes. Being captured would almost certainly mean ending up in Notch's power. Although his mind was racing, he just stared at his attacker. He could feel the darkness grasping at his mind, wanting to go further, promising to get rid of all the pain forever.
hissssssssssssssss
The soldier whipped around, but he was too late. The explosion was massive, but stopped right at Herobrine's feet. He watched, amazed, as the semi-circle of mobs bowed. One creeper came forward.
"At your ssssssservice, Lord Herobrine."
