Alex's P.o.V
I can't believe that I'm actually going to Princeton College! I haven't even graduated high school yet. I'll probably be the only 16 year old in the school. I'm excited to have a roommate, go to my classes, write essays, have friends, and have so much fun! I thought as I admired the college campus as I walked. I must not have been paying good attention to where I was going, because I ran directly into someone walking the opposite direction as me. When I saw his face, I immediately recognized him.
"Watch where you're going" he grumbled at me.
"I'm sorry. Hey, are you Aaron Burr, sir?" I asked him excitedly. He was the best student to ever attend Princeton, for which I had idolized him. I wish I could have a reputation like that someday.
"That depends, who's asking" he stated defensively.
"Oh, well sure. I'm Alexander Hamilton, but you can call me Alex. I'm from the Caribbean and I got a full ride scholarship because of an essay that I wrote. I'm a junior, and I am an or-" I recalled before he cut me off.
"Talk less. Smile more. Just don't let them know what you're against or what you're for." Burr said coldly.
"Okay...." I said mildly annoyed. Who is he to tell me what to say and do? Well I just hope that I won't have to deal with Burr on a daily basis. I quickly walked away from him and thought Well, hopefully my new roommate isn't like him at all.
