Sam sits in the passenger seat, tapping his fingers impatiently while Gabriel speed down the road.
"Sasquatch, do me a favor and stop that?" Gabriel asks.
"Sorry, just haven't drunk blood in a few days." Sam gulps out tightly.
He's been able to control himself really well, but whenever he has down time it's nearly impossible.
"Really?" Gabriel ask, taking his eyes off the road for a second to study Sam. "Why?"
Sam clears this throat and shifts awkwardly, not meeting Gabriel's gaze.
"I don't know, just uh, been busy."
Gabriel eyes Sam before shaking his head, an annoyed and surprised gasp escapes his lips.
"You're babysitting me!" He exclaims with an insulted tone. "That's why you've been around so much!"
"No! Not babysitting per say... Just, making sure you didn't do anything reckless." Sam mumbles out.
"Unbelievable!" Gabriel says with a shake of his head.
"It wasn't like that, okay?" Sam says softly. "It wasn't that we didn't trust you, we just want you safe."
At hearing this Gabriel's anger subsides a little. "Alright... But seeing as it's my fault I can at least help you out." And with that Gabriel pulls the car to the side of the road.
"What are you doing?"
"We're about to face an angel, you need to be at your best. You won't be if your all twitchy from not having any blood so," Gabriel rolls up the sleeve to his shirt. "I'm giving you some of mine."
Sam just stares at him for a moment before asking, "You're sure?"
"Course." Is all Gabriel says as he takes out a knife and with a hiss of pain cuts his arm and holds it out to Sam.
Sam gratefully accepts, much like before devouring the blood, but this time being careful not to get any around his mouth. "Why is your blood so good?" Sam moans out.
Gabriel smirks triumphantly, almost as if having Sam say his blood is good makes him better than everyone else.
When Sam finally does pull away he is panting hard, his eyes meet Gabriel's. He gulps as he eyes the human, he's can't remember ever being so nervous that in this moment. He can practically hear his heart beating out of his chest, and despite just having a 'drink' his mouth is dry. Gabriel isn't doing much better, his hands shake with anticipation as Sam slowly inches closer to him.
"W- we shouldn't be doing this." Gabriel says lowly just as Sam's lips are almost touching his.
"I agree, Dean told me not to." Sam confesses but makes not move to back away.
"Dean's smart, he knows what's best. I- I shouldn't be getting involved with a demon... It's wro-" Gabriel never finishes his sentence because in that instant Sam closed the small distance between them.
Everything in Gabriel's head is screaming "WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!" But if that's the case, then why does it feel so right? Gabriel can taste his own blood on Sam's lips, he doesn't particularly like it, but he can push past it, especially with the way Sam's lips feel against his own.
"W- wait!" Sam pants out, pulling away after a long moment with Gabriel chasing after his lips with a whine causing Sam to chuckle. "We can't do this now, we have to go help Dean."
The words snap Gabriel back to reality, he takes a calming breath and leans back in his seat. He offers Sam a flirtatious wink before putting the car in drive and stepping on the gas.
