A Crosby story

Chapter 1

Paige's POV

Today's the day, the day all of my hard work pays off. Graduation. After four long hard years of studying at university, long nights trying to understand the human body and their functions I will officially become a sports physiotherapist.

I finish curling my hair and pull some of it back so it is half up half down. Using the beautiful barrette my deceased grandmother gave me as a gift for entering university. She always had so much faith in me, one day I would save the world she would tell me. Ok maybe I wouldn't save the world but, I would be helping a lot of athletes with their injuries.

After taking one last look in the full length mirror in my room, looking at my knee length peach lace dress and smiling. I began to walk down the stairs where my family awaits to celebrate with me. After taking pictures with everyone, we drove to my school. I was beginning to get nervous, but tried to get past the nerves and enjoy the moment. After being called up to receive my diploma I sit and wait with the rest of the soon to be graduates of 2013. Next thing you know we were throwing our graduation caps in the air. We did it! Lots of hugs and tears. After taking pictures with my friends and promising to stay in touch we went our separate directions. Wow, I did it. During my last year of school I did at co-op at a physiotherapy clinic. My boss really enjoyed my work and gave me an opportunity to work there once I had graduated. Obviously I took him up on that offer knowing sometimes it's hard to land a job working at physiotherapy clinic right after graduating. When we got home my boss, David Altman was standing on our porch waiting. He had some flowers and a graduation balloon for me. His gestures might of come off as flirty, but he's a lot older, married and not my type so no thank you. I do look up to him as he is my boss and is very knowledgable. David hands me my work schedule and tells me to swing by the clinic sometime tomorrow to discuss work in more detail. After my huge graduation dinner I return to my room where I look at old pictures I took with my friends throughout uni. I lived in a residence for my first year and then my last three years my friends and I rented a house and lived there. Another chapter of my life complete.
