My mom, dad and brother drove me to the airport around six the night I was supposed to be heading out. They made sure that I had everything and that I was okay. My mom began to cry, which made me cry. It was then I knew all of this was real. I didn't even try to tell her it was okay. I just wanted her to hug me. I just wanted her to stay with me a little longer. After the very long time we spent hugging, holding eachother and crying, we finally let go. She wiped my tears with a tissue she had and told me she loved me. My dad just gave me a hug and a pat on the back. "good luck bud." he said. Yup, I was really feeling the love dad. But I know he is not an affectionate person and sometimes he walks on thin ice with me. Of course I was going to miss him. Cal came up to me and made some kind of stupid joke to lighten the very tense and sad mood. " I think I might actually miss you this time" he said laughing. "Do you have to be such a dork" I said punching him. " Security! Security! Help I'm being abused" he yelled. "Callum Joseph Stone! Stop yelling, we are in an airport" my mom snapped. She went from being sad and crying to angry. "Give me a proper hug and be serious when you tell me you're sad to see me go" I said opening my arms for a hug. " Paige, I'll miss you, and I'm serious. And I'm not just saying I'm serious because you told me to be. If any of those hockey guys try to break your heart, I'll really give them a reason to see you." He said hugging me. "Thanks Cal" I said wiping my tears. "Call us when you get there, get lots of rest!" my mom said hugging me one last time. "You'll be great" my brother added. I waved goodbye and walked through the security check in, when your bags get checked to see if you have any weapons.

The plane ride only lasted about two hours. Not bad. I wouldn't have problems taking a trip back home to go visit the fam and then flying back to Pittsburgh. I got a taxi to drive me to my apartment. Wow is all I can say. The outside just looked so nice, I was itching to se what the inside would look like. The taxi man helped me with my bags inside. I went to the front desk and told them my name and then I had to fill out some paper work, then I was given my key. I also asked for Jeff and they gave me a number to call for him. My apartment was on the 12th floor, and just as promised, it over looked they Pittsburgh harbour. My room, or I guess I should say my house was really nice. It was great. I could decorate it how I wanted, I could make whatever I wanted, watch whatever I wanted and have who ever I wanted over. ThIS is GREAT!  I called my mom and let her know I was here, I told her I was call her back tomorrow because I was really tired. I just wanted to explore more of my apartment. My bed already had sheets and blankets on, but once I got settled, which wouldn't be for a couples of days, I would go out and buy a new comforter set. Until then I lay here until I fall asleep.
