for some reason if you read through my previous chapter you notice ross and lauras speech patterns sound a bit gangster and so does mine in my authors note. i dont know why... maybe i felt really salty that day? I dont know I just made Laura and Ross fight about something stupid and i have no idea why... but yeah okay

Morgan walked through the city, a little unsteady. She panicked through her way as the loud noises surrounded with every step she took. She felt like crying but she didn't. She pushed through the crowd rushing home, and stopped at the park. She rushed to the open space full of grass, trees, and leaves. She felt calmer. She sat on the grass and closed her eyes as she tilted her head up. She layed down on the grass, staring up at the blue sky. She watched as earth moved every second, making it look like the clouds we're moving. The trees blew in the soft wind, calming her young soul.
People stared at her strangely.
She sat up, and began to think.
Where would she go after this?
She sighed, and sat on a bench with her things, pulling out a sketch book.
"Hm." she sketched and sketched, people walking by her every few 10 minutes or so. Finally, someone sat next to her.
"Hey."
She looked to her side, seeing a man about her fathers age, with brown silky hair. It was messy, and he wore a grey sweat shirt that was slightly dirty, just like the rest of what he was wearing. He gave a genuine smile. He looked a little...
Sketchy.
"Hello." she gave a firm greeting, avoiding eye contact.
"Hi. I couldn't but help but wonder what a girl as young as you is doing here alone at the park." he watched as she sketched.
"Just enjoying my time alone away from home, sir."
"Sir? Haha no need."
"What the hell else should I call you by then? I dont wanna know your name."
"Woah. Isn't it good to know each others names?"
"My mom and dad always tell me not to talk to strangers." she says firmly, her pencil was pressing harder against the paper.
"Well everyone starts out as strangers."
Morgan paused. "Well that is true.. But I'd rather not talk to a man whos like 20 years older than me." She rolled her eyes, shifting herself farther away from him. He shifted closer.
"You talk like if you we're a superior with such a vocabulary."
"I'm aware of that." Morgan slowly began to feel more and more uncomfortable. He smelt of alcohol, and alley ways.
"Well...would you like to-"
"Pause right there man." Morgan began to get up and put her stuff away. She put her book bag on her back. "I'm six. Not an idiot." She walked off back to the city, leaving the man sitting on the bench alone.
------
Ross sat at the couch on his phone, near the window where light shined through. He heard stomps coming towards him from across the house.
"Oh dear lord... Here she comes."
"Ross! Its going to be evening, and Morgan still isn't back! I'm worried!" she says in distress. Ross pulled her onto his lap, cuddling her. "You shouldn't be up and about like that. You havent healed yet." he mumbled onto her back. She sighed.
"Ross. Don't play cuddle with me. I'm worried about Morgan! Its my first day back, and now Morgans gone? I-" Ross gave a peck on her cheek.
"Don't worry. She will learn her lesson this way."
"What lesson!? This is gonna kill her!"
"Thats the whole point Laura.."
Laura turned to him. "Alright what the fuck do you mean by that."
-----
Morgan walked through the city once again. She didn't feel any better than before but she still walked on. It was almost evening. She felt a headache taking over here, as she walked along the side walk. She could see the sunsets colors hitting the city, making it look beautiful, and calming.
Without her noticing, she found herself inside of a savage area, where the streets are empty, but had some sketchy ass people around.
--
"What the heck!?" Ross laughed."WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING! THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" Laura yelled at Ross who still sat at the couch peaceful."
"With that face of yours, anything is funny." he continued to laugh.
"Our daughter is in danger, and you are just sitting there!?"
"Meh."
She looked at him in disbelief.
"You're insane."
"Of course I am. Not without you." He winked. She looked at him angrily, feeling flustered.
"ROSS-"
"RELAX!" he suddenly yelled at her, sending silence throughout the whole house. The infant was still asleep soundly in his crib in the living room, giving out little snores.
Ross laughed again, but suddenly stopped and gave an angry look.
"I told you by evening Laura. By evening."
"Yeah but-"
His eyes shifted right towards her, eyes locking.
"Are you retarded? I said by evening."
Lauras eyes widened. That word in his mouth. It was strange. Ross had to have been drinking. He was completely mental at this moment in time, shocking Laura. He HAD to be drunk.
But no.
There wasn't even a whiff of alcohol.
"W-Whats wrong with you..." Laura began to tear up, taking a step back. He was stood up, looking at her.
"Nothing Laura." He yawned, stretching. "I'm gonna go to the kitchen now. See ya Laur." He kissed her forehead, and walked to the kitchen. She stood there, speechless.
What the hell is wrong with him?
