Monroe woke up the light ache in her head and the bright sun in her eyes. She smiled, she didn't know why as there wasn't really anything to smile about anymore.
She lost a lot of things except her lover that was laying beside her.
Michelle was leaving in a few days and she promised that they'd hang out before she left and that was her plan this week but she couldn't help but look at the boy with his hair in his face and the sun on his cheek.
"Wake up, sweet boy," she whispered in his ear as he groaned sleepily. Harry pushed his hair back as the brown locks were blurring the vision in front of him.
"Sweet boy?" He questioned tiredly as she smiled, almost laughing.
"S'first thing you say to me? What about good morning baby?"
He grinned widely as he grabbed her by the waist and tucked his head in the crook of her neck, giving it a small peck. "Good morning, baby."
"Good morning, my sweet boy." And she didn't know why she used the nickname but she used it as she knew that Harry had been called several other names in his past and even now. But to her he was the sweetest person she knew. As Harry's ears tinged a light shade of pink as she used the nickname.
"Thank you," she told him quietly as he lifted his head and gazed at her confused.
"Why are you thanking me?"
"For not taking advantage of me last night. You could have but you didn't so thank you."
It was silent for awhile before Harry smiled. "Well you sure didn't make it easy."
She rolled her eyes at his comment as she pecked his lips quickly. There was something so intimate about the moment like another layer was removed from their skin as they were more vulnerable than yesterday. The sun shined on them as if to expose what they really were...
Fragile.
"I'd never take advantage of you, you know that right?" He asked with almost a pained expression and his voice laced with pain and sadness.
She nodded her head almost immediately, knowing he'd never do that to her. She trusted him enough to know that.
They stared at each other for awhile because they had no where to gaze at but the beauty in each other's eyes. She loved him and he loved her and that's all that mattered.
"You need to get a hair cut," Monroe murmured as she twirled one of his locks around her finger, ironic how she had him wrapped around her finger metaphorically speaking.
Harry playfully pouted as he swatted her hand away. "I quite like my hair like this, it's sexy don't you think?"
"No it's not, it's greasy." She grimaced jokingly. As she pulled away from his grasp. Harry only smirked at her sly movements as he grabbed her once more and hovered over her, pressing his face to her chest but his motives were to just get his hair in her face.
"Ew... H-Harry-" she said laughing, trying to push him away. "S-Stop!"
"Admit my hairs sexy," he smirked as he tickled her sides.
"Your hair needs a wash." She laughed harder as he tickled her more intensely.
"Baby, I'm not going to stop until you tell me."
She tried to push him away but to no avail she couldn't as he was ten times more stronger then her even though emotionally it was the complete opposite and he was more vulnerable.
