The next morning I wake up Ray. "How is it?" I whispered, not wanting to wake the others. "It's doing a lot better." He pulled off his shirt to show the bite. I bit my lip and held back a smile, seeing him shirtless. He was skinny, but had some muscle. He didn't have abs, but he had a hard and flat stomach. "Can I... Can I touch it?" He nodded and I reached my hand out. My fingers brushed across the ripped skin. "I'm so sorry, it's all my fault." I said quietly. "It's not your fault! Why would you think it's your fault?" I shrugged and replied "If you guys didn't know I was bitten, I wouldn't have put you guys through this. If I wouldn't have met you, none of this would've happened..." My words trailed off. He lifted my chin and looked at me with concern. "I'm glad I met you. You have given me more of a reason to live. Hell, I probably would've been bitten anyways. All of this wouldn't have been the same without you." He gave me a small smile and I returned it. He leaned in and kissed me. I melted inside and put my hands around the back of his neck.

"I fucking knew it!" I heard Geoff yell out loud. I jumped back and hit my head. "Ow! What the fuck?" I turned and saw all the guys were awake. "Cough it up bitches." Geoff exclaimed. Jack and Michael groaned and handed Geoff money. I turned to give Ray a confused look and I saw him blushing. I look back to the rest of the guys and my eyes meet Gavin's. Oh shit. "Gavin, I-" I started but he cut me off "Just, no. It's fine I get it." I couldn't even say anything else before he ran out of the building. "Holy fuck. GAVIN!" I scream and run out after him. I heard both our names being called as I ran after Gavin. "Gavin! There's fucking zombies out here! What are you doing?!" I yell at him. He stops and turns around. There were tears running down his face "Gav..." I said softly. I heard a bark and Sparky ran up to my side. "Sparky! Why are you here?" He barked and faced behind me and froze, like he was pointing out something. I turned and saw men in hazmat suits and holding guns. "Fuck! The CDC!" They were surrounding the others. I watched in shock as they were loaded into trucks. Before I could do anything, I felt something heavy slam into my head an I fell to the ground, unconscious.
