I woke up with the hugest headache ever. I rubbed my head before rubbing my eyes open. I sat up and looked around. This is different. My heart started to race. "Fucking shit, where am I?" "Oh thank goodness you're awake! I was starting to worry!" A voice said to me. "Whose there?" I pulled out my gun. The man walked into the light with his hands up in surrender. "Who the fuck are you? And what's happening?" "I'm Gus, Gus Sorola. I found you wandering about out in the open so I brought ya in." I still had my gun pointed at this guy. "Will you please put that gun down?" He asked. I shook my head. "What's in your pockets?" I nodded towards his pockets. He pulled out some food and medicine. "Hand em over." He rolled it my way and I picked them up. I spotted that there was an AR-15 next to him. "I like that gun. Scoot." I said and he slowly backed up from the gun. I picked it up and grabbed all the ammo that came with it. I was fucking loaded. "Um I don't think we should stay here." Gus said. "Why not?" I snapped back. He pointed out a window and I spotted a whole horde of zombies coming our way. I started to shoot at them. Some came through the window while I was reloading "Shit shit shit." I said to myself, trying to reload faster. Gunshots went off and I looked to see the zombies fall, dead to the ground. I looked at Gus holding a pistol "You had a backup gun?" "Yeah, I'm always prepared." He said. "C'mon lets get out of here before they get to us." I said and the two of us ran out. It was dark in the room we entered. I looked around, seeing the coast was clear. We both proceeded cautiously into the darkness. I heard a groan and some runners came after us. "Run kid!" Gus told me and I ran off, hearing gunshots in the distance. I ran around a few corners and shot a few zombies. I climbed a ladder and saw Gus by a door. "Everything is clear, lets head out." He said and we headed out. "Why do you care so much about me anyways, Gus?" I asked. "Because, we are both one and yknow, we should stick together. And you seem like a very special girl." He smiled at me and I shuddered. "There's a building where it's safe, come on follow me." He ran off and I hesitantly followed him. After minutes of running and killing zombies, we arrived at a building. "So how did you manage to survive?" I asked him. "Well I used to work at this big company. Had a lot of friends there. But they were wiped out." He said "By zombies?" I asked. He shook his head. "No, humans. It was about seven people." He said nonchalantly. My heart dropped. "Six guys, one girl." He said and chuckled to himself. Meanwhile I tensed up in fear. "That girl, huh, she nearly took out all the CDCs." He said. "I-I... Look,-" I started but Gus cut me off "Oh dont worry, whoever has done such a horrible thing to my friends know that there will be consequences." He grinned and I let out a scream as Gus grabbed his gun and whacked the butt of it across my head and I blacked out.

I woke up again on a cold concrete floor with blood surrounding me. Probably my blood. "Morning, sunshine." Gus cooed and I felt a chill go down my spine. "I looked up at him but saw a fence keeping us apart. "What the fuck are you going to do with me?" I asked the psychotic freak. "Well, I can do whatever I want with you sweetheart." His evil eyes glared at me through his glasses. "Anything I want..."

My scream could've been heard from anywhere.
