It's been a week since Ray, was killed by that sick bastard. I think I finally found out what was wrong with Miles. Just like Geoff, he was bitten. But somehow it stopped and just messed with his mind.

Ray's absence started to affect me. I wouldn't talk. I wouldn't eat. I wouldn't sleep. I was being torn apart. Every night, I prayed to whatever God there was up above. I prayed for some miracle that Ray would come back. "Hey guys?" Ryan said. "Yeah?" We answered. "We're almost out of food..." We all groaned. "We are in a forest, there's bound to be wildlife or berries or something." Geoff said. I stood up "I'll go." They looked at me "I used to hunt all the time." They all nodded as wished me good luck. "And no matter what, don't follow me." I told them as I left. I just wanted to be alone for a while. The forest darkened as I went through. The fog getting worse and worse. I held still for a moment, listening to where I had to go. I heard a rustle from the bushes and a moan. My heart stopped. "Ray?" I asked aloud. The bush was close, I approached it slowly. My hand reached for the bush and it was grabbed. "ZOMBIE!" I accidentally yelled. I shot my M-14 prematurely, and missed the undead freak. I finally shot him in the head and the blue light went out. Panting, I tried to catch my breath. That scared the living shit out of me. I walked on for a little while longer and stopped to hear another noise. In the distance, I saw antlers. Food. It galloped away and I chased it. Almost losing it a few times, I finally rounded a corner where I saw that it went. Nothing. A dead end. I faced a big rockwall. I turned around to head back but froze. Through the blurriness, I saw another figure limping towards me. I can't get around it. Damn zombies. It was getting closer and I scrambled to grab my gun and aim it. I pulled the trigger.

CLICK.

What? Shit! I'm out of ammo. I checked my bag to see no more ammo. I facepalmed myself. Looking up from my hands, I saw the zombie getting really close. I pulled out my knife and got ready to melee this bitch. The sky got darker and it was hard to make out what the zombie looked like. It came closer and I raised my knife. I shot my arm out at him and it grabbed my hand before the knife contacted its skin. "Whoa whoa whoa." A deep and raspy voice said. He grabbed both my wrists and I tried to yank them back. "Sky?" My heart dropped into my stomach. I recognized that raspy voice. I looked up to a teary-eyed face "Did you miss me?" Tears escaped my eyes as well as I hugged him tightly. "Please don't leave me again, Ray." Ray smiled and spoke softly "I won't, I promise." "I love you Ray." I said into his shoulder. "I love you too, Sky."
