My eyes slowly opened to reveal a bright light in my face, and I shut them. I groaned "Ughh, where the fuck am I?" I forced my eyes to open and look around. The room looked big, but I still couldn't figure out where I was. I heard small footsteps "Whose there?" I scream out. "Ahh Skylar, you're awake. Good." "You didn't answer my question." I gritted my teeth. "Oh yes how rude of me, I" the person turned on a big light that filled the room "am Dr. Williams." He said with an evil grin. I finally got a good look around. I was strapped to a table with buzz saws dangling above. "What?!... Where am I?" I yell and squirm on the table. "That's classified." He smirked "but lets just say, you will find out soon enough." I heard movement coming from the otherwise of the room. The doctor turned towards that direction and said "Gavin! You're awake too." I shot up my head and met Gavin's confused, yet sad eyes. "Get us out of here you psychotic prick!" I yelled and tried to get out of the chains that were holding me down. "Oh Ms. Rose, I'm afraid that struggling will do you no good!" "Oh yeah? Well when I get out of these I'm going to kill your sorry ass." I started to lash out, hoping the chains would come loose. "Well I wouldn't do that if I were you." He said and clicked his tongue. "Why not?" I snapped back. He stepped aside and I saw the rest of the guys strapped like Gavin and I was. But one was on the big table and shirtless with a giant buzz saw. It was Ray. I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Why are you doing this?" I stuttered. He found my weak spot, damn! He smiled and I felt the chills go down my spine. "Because I know you're the cure. I'm saving you for later." He walked over to where Ray was "But these guys, I'm going to have fun with. The CDC said I can do as I please with them." He walked back to me as whispered "Want to know a secret?" "No" I said. "I'm not really a doctor," he smiled "but I've always wanted to be one. And I've alway wanted to perform surgery." His smile grew wilder and more wicked. "You sick freak." I muttered and spit at the ground in front of him. He sighed "Well now, that's not very nice!" He said curtly. "I guess I'll have to punish you for being so rude." He gave me another smirk and I felt fear take over me. He walked over to a dark spot of the room as turned on a light. My boy Sparky. Strapped on the table with a muzzle. "Sparky!" I cried out. "Don't you fucking do it! You sick bastard!" I lashed out. I screamed as he turned on the buzz saw. "Oh goodie! My first operation!" He said giddily and jumped up and down. My screaming woke the others and they looked around in confusion. They quickly realized what was happening and they soon tried to get out of the chains that held them down. I watched as Dr. Williams slowly lowered the deadly saw closer and closer to my best friend. "SPARKY!" I screamed a the blade cut through my whimpering dog. Tears flowed from my eyes and I screamed to the world, hoping everyone could hear my pain. Ray woke up after my big, crazy lash out. "Fuck, my head hurts!" He looked and saw what used to be my best dog. He then met my crying eyes. His eyes grew wide with fear and concern. I kept screaming and crying. I closed my eyes, hoping and praying that all this just didn't happen. Then I heard someone yell "Shut up!" And then I felt a sharp pain across my face. I opened my eyes and saw that the doctor had slapped me. "God damn, women are very annoying." He whispered. Ray saw that he slapped me and struggled in his chains "You fucking asshole! I'm going to kill you!" Ray screamed and violently tried to break out of the chains. The doctor turned towards him "I guess it's time for you to go first." He spoke out. Ray stopped talking and his eyes grew wide. I looked around for anything, anything that could help me break free. I saw a small table besides me with a skinny knife. I can use that to pick the lock on these chains if only I could reach it. I stretched my hand out as much as I could. Inches away, and I heard the saw start up. I looked over to see Ray struggling ad the doctor laughing over him. I couldn't reach the knife. No no no no no! I watched as the saw slowly lowered. I closed my eyes. Fuck, holy fuck. I heard a loud crash and someone falling to the floor. I opened one eye and saw Gavin standing over the doctor's crumbled body. He was holding a glass bottle. Ray was still wide eyed and panting. He was staring at the saw that was still moving, just an inch or two above him. "Yeah does someone want to help me?!" Ray said in a panicked tone. Gavin scrambled over to the controls and tried to figure out what it all meant. He curiously pushed a button and Ray screamed out "GAVIN WRONG BUTTON!" The saw lowered even more. Gavin quickly pressed another button and the buzz saw slowly stopped. "Oh. My. God." He panted out. Gavin ran over to each of us and undid the chains. I got out and hugged Gavin. "Thank you so much! I'm so sorry." I said and a tear ran down my cheek. He wiped the tear and said "It's alright love, I'll be fine." He smiled at me. I hugged him again before I ran to Ray. I hugged him tightly and he squeezed back. "I thought... I was going to lose you." He whispered. "Me too..." I cried. He pulled me away and forced his lips onto mine. "I love you so much" he said in the kiss. "I love you too." "Ahem!" We broke apart and Geoff was tapping his foot. "Sorry hate to break up you two, but we are in the middle of some CDC laboratory. And frankly, I'm not feeling very comfortable here." I turned to Sparky's table and my heart beat hard in my chest. Jack punched Impatient Geoff in the arm "Give her a minute, man!" He whispered harshly to him. I knelt down in front of the table I put my head in my heads and just let everything out. Crying still didn't help the pain in my heart. Ray came over to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Sparky's been my best friend since I was 3." I whispered. "I'm so sorry Sky." Ray told me. "Shit I heard footsteps!" Michael whispered. Ray pulled me to my feet. "Sky, we have to get out of here." I wiped my eyes and nodded. He grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Sparky. As we were leaving the room I gave a small wave to Sparky and I felt the tears returning to my eyes.
