Warrior's Daughter

As my father stood with our Beta, Third Command, and Alpha, those of us who were next in line, stood slightly behind our fathers so when they were to introduce us to the Blood Diamond Pack, we would be easily accessible.

My father is the pack warrior, meaning he had to train the warriors how to fight in wolf and human form, use and handle guns properly, and battlefield strategy. Everyone in my family was born a warrior, and mated to a warrior strangely enough.

All my friends in the pack are always talking about having to live up to their parents expectations and going to college, while i have that and being the best warrior, better than my dad. And apparently being beaten for doing one wrong move was apart of the training.

I started at the age of 7, been training for 11 years. Only when i get a mate will my dad step down from his title. Though i am more than capable of holding the title.

"Hello Alpha Darren. It is great to see you well, i am here with my Beta, Third command, and pack Warrior."

"Yes, yes of course Alpha Knox." an older man's voice boomed.

I got my father's height, but it does nothing to help the fact that i am still a couple inches too short for my liking.

"Come in come in, i'm sorry but my son is not here at the moment, he's finishing up some paperwork for me. Starting to ease into his position as the new Alpha."

We all entered the gigantic elegant mansion that was the pack house. Surprisingly there was barely anyone in here. Must be at a mandatory pack training.

We all made it to a dining room which had a crystal chandelier, long table with many cushioned chairs. Everything was white, with accents of baby blue and grey. "Come sit, we have somethings to take care of."

All of us children were silent as the "grownups" talked business totally ignoring our presence, not that we minded. I tuned in once in awhile hearing things like "once there's a mate in the mix..." "yes i understand but he can't..." "that's total bullshit."

Then once as i tuned in again, Alpha Darren spoke to us, "Oh my god, i apologise for not doing this sooner. Children, as you may know i am Alpha Darren nice to meet you all." he gestured for us to say our rankings and names.

"Gunner, soon to be Alpha of Silverblood Pack."

"Shaun, soon to be Beta of Silverblood Pack."

"Ryker, soon to be Third Command of Silverblood pack."

It was finally my turn, all eyes on me. My dads cold gaze was on me as well, not uncommon though today it was much harsher than usual. My voice came out stronger and more confident than i thought it would, "Alexandra, soon to be pack Warrior of Silverblood pack."

Though it was only nine words, i felt pride rush through me at the thought of teaching pups and teens how to do all the things i was taught, but better.

"You've got a strong one there Daxton." Alpha Darren Mused to my dad.

All he did was turn to Darren, nod, and let out a small grunt of approval. If you were to look at me, you'd think i was indifferent about this little praise, but it means the world to know that he thinks i did well.

Mind linking my friends, we end up having a small conversation while the older ones talk to each other not minding us.

Did you hear that Scar? He grunted in approval! Aren't you happy?

Of course i am dipshit, i can't show it or you know what happens.

I mentally rolled my eyes at him.
