Chapter 6

Lester's POV

After I took my morning swim, I rushed to the wash room to change into my normal outfit and decided on a muscle tee and some ripped jeans. I then fixed my hair into its usual style and made my way towards the kitchen where I would spend my morning. I don't usually do that but there seems to be a new inspiration to do so.

"Good morning chef Lou." I greeted, happily breaking the bubble silence the chef was just in as he read the daily newspaper.

He sat up straight under a stool and looked up.

"Lester." He greeted, placing the material down. "You're up early. Are you hungry?"

"Yup." I said popping the P. I looked around the kitchen, and found it pretty empty. But honestly, I was just hoping to see Karylle.

"She's still asleep." Chef Lou smirked, and I smiled because he noticed. He walks to the stove and said, "That girl wakes up late."

"I can wait." I mumbled, nodding. I sat on the stool and quietly thought of what I can do for my free schedule today and with who. Vice is off the list since he start his training for the company today, Peter's at the track racing a guy who owes him money. And my friends are all out of town, which is awful. So that leaves me with Anne.

Oh wait, she has that photoshoot for a new magazine cover. Damn it. Is no one free today?

Karylle. Maybe she's free. If not, I can always just ask chef Lou a favor.

"Hey chef Lou." I called out while he cooks a few feet away.

"Yes?" He asked without looking back.

"Is Karylle free today?"

Karylle's POV

"Uncle, do you know where my shoes are?" I asked walking out of my room and into the kitchen, while also searching for my earphones in my bag. Without looking up, I stumbled my through the hall and by the time I reached the kitchen, I still haven't heard a response.

"Uncle?" I raised my head to see where that man was, but instead I find myself face to face with one of the triplets. Based on this triplet's hairstyle and smile, I can assume that it's Lester. And to my surprise, he has my shoes.

"Looking for this?" He teased, a wide grin on his face. Why in the world does he have it?

"Yes." I breathed and tried to get my shoes back but he suddenly lifted it up to a level I can't reach.

"Can I have it back?" I asked, politely as I can even though he's starting to get on my nerves, especially since I'm still annoyed at him for pushing me into the pool.

"Sure." He said and began to hand it over when he decided to raise it up again. "But in one condition."

I watched as the side of his lips slowly curve, making me hate myself for finding it cute. I looked over to my uncle who was watching everything, but quickly turned around when he saw me looking. I groaned to myself and sighed.

"What is it?" I asked turning back to face Lester.

The smile on his face grew bigger. "I'm going grocery shopping with you."

I glanced over to my uncle again, about to ask him if this triplet was serious, but he just shrugged his shoulders and left the kitchen. Great. It appears that leaving me alone with one triplet in the kitchen is his thing.

I took a deep breath, thinking of how I can say no without being disrespectful. I shift my body so that it faces Lester and smiled. "Um. Don't you have something else better to do?"
