Bea's POV

"Bei?!"

I'm shocked that she speaks like she knows me really well, but in fact she asks me earlier who am I. The doctor signed that I should continue talking to her and they're observing her.

"Yes Ju, it's me! Do you remember me?" I talked to her calmly ignoring my feeling inside where my emotions are rumbling.

"No. I just heard it." that broke my heart, so, she can't remember a thing. Even her parents.

The doctors signed that I should continue talking to her, I guess they are still observing her.

"How are you feeling, Ju?" I asked stayng composed because even thoug I wanted to break down at that very moment I can't, I need to be strong.

"My head hurts. I can't remember a thing." She said still stuttering.

"You just need to rest and we're here whenever you need us. By the way, as I said earlier I'm Bei, I'm a friend of yours. You can call me anytime. For now, I'll leave you to them, okay? I'll wait here outside til you're okay. Alright?" I managed to tell her in my remaining strength. I'll leave her first to the doctor which I think they need to run their final observations for their conclusion about her condition.

She nods as an answer to my last question and that's my cue to leave the room.

Ju's family is waiting outside her room.

"Bea, what happened back there?" tito ariel asked

"Tito, hindi rin po niya ko naaalala" and tita Hedy cried again, this time I tried to comfort her

"Anong sabi ng doctor?" ate Jess asked too

"Wala pa po ate, I guess they're checking on Jia pa and they will talk to us pagtapos nila." I answered. I hope Jia will remember everything.

"She's awake and she's fine for now. But, we will run some tests to assure our hypothesis" the doctor said pagkalabas na pagkalabas niya, Jia's siblings rushed to their sister's room to talk to her.

"Mr and Mrs sorry to tell you that the patient has retrograde amnesia, she doesn't remember a thing about her past, but there's a big chance that she will recover her memories based from the results of her tests that the accident did not cause a big damage in her brain. But, it will take time. Also, she may easily recover her memories if she does her daily routines" the doctor explained.

I stayed to the doctor's explanation, Ju's parents are listening well too. I can't help myself but ask.

"Doc, sorry to interrupt but how can you explain about her saying my name when she woke up but she doesn't remember me" I asked to him

"Like she said earlier, she heard it. Well actually that's her unconscious mind. Maybe something happened during the accident kaya ikaw yung huling pumasok sa isip niya kaya yung pangalan mo ang naaalala niya. So, do you remember what happened that day?" sabi nung doctor

I'm thinking about what happened that day and I knew it

"Oh I remember, I called her several times during that day and when she finally answered her phone she's asking for help tas nawala na bigla" i answered his question

"Siguro yun yung na-retain na piece of memory sa kanya, she also remembers the basics, I guess she's an intelligent person na I think mas makakapagpabilis ng recovery niya." dagdag pa nung doctor

"Yes she is doc." sagot ni tito ariel

"Maiwan ko na po muna kayo" sabay umalis na si doc
