Bea's POV

"Since when did you like Jia?" -kuya

"Seriously, kuya? What are you talking about? We're just friends." I said

We're eating our lunch, it's saturday, they don't need to go to work and I just got home from tagaytay and ngayon lang ulit ako nakauwi dito sa bahay. Even though they don't show it, they missed me. And of course I miss them too, so much!

"Why would stay there? It's not that important that you'll be there, right?" -kuya can be very annoying.

"Kuya, if one of your friends happened to be in that stuation, hindi mo ba siya tutulungan?"

"I'll help him or her in so many ways, but I can't really stay there and forget my life. I have a lot of things to do. But, if that's my girlfriend or someone I love. I'd do anything."

"It's not like I forget my life! I just wanted to help." I said

"Enough of that" -dad

"Si kuya nagsimula" -sabi ko naman

"I'm just asking." -kuya

"Psh."

Hindi ko na pinatulan pa si kuya kasi wala rin namang patutunguhan kung magtatalo pa kami.

After we ate, I went straight to my room. I missed my room.

I fight the urge to call Ju again, kahit sabi ko I'll call, pinalagpas ko muna. Baka nagpapahinga na rin yun, so I dont want to bother her.

Plus the thing is, I wanted to think about what kuya said earlier.

I cleared my mind, and one thing's for sure. I wanted an excuse na lumayo muna from the person who hurt me, and that would be only possible kapag malayo ako from everything that reminds me of her.

Natulog na lang ako para malayo na ang isip ko sa kanya.

Pumunta akong school to fix everything, bumalik na rin ako sa training. Kahit tapos na yung season, we still need to prepare for another tournament which is yung shakey's v-league. I also talked to some of Jia's classmates para ayusin yung mga kailangan ni Jia to finish the sem. I'm suppose to finish all her requirements but luckily sabi nila they'll help. Syempre I need to finish mine too. But, I know I'll manage.

Ni-ready ko yung sarili ko pagbalik ko ng training because for sure, they'll ask many questions about Ju. And also, I prepared physically, mentally and emotionally. I know I'll see her pero I already gathered my thoughts.

The day is almost over and no training in the afternoon. So I decided to stay in the library to catch up in the school stuffs.

Mga ilang araw din na ganun lang yung routine ko, bahay, school, training.

I already finished Jia's requirements. And mine too. I texted ate Jess to relay the news.

But, instead of a text, she called me.

"Hello"

"Yes ate Jess?"

"Thank you Bea sa pag-asikaso nung mga kailangan ni Jia ha."

"Wala po yun ate."

"Uhmm, Bea"

I know she needs to say something. Hindi naman ito tatawag kung hindi importante.

"Po?"

"I think Jia's waiting for your call. I was just wandering if you're okay. You know you can tell me."
