We all turn in for the night, and go to sleep. Levi tries to keep a little distance between us as we sleep, because we would probably try to 'snuggle' each other, and that would be an awkward conversation with the others in the morning. When everyone is comfortable, soft snores fill the room.
---
Everyone jumps awake as the metal door bounces off the wall. Guards armed with small guns and knives enter the room and order us to kneel. We comply and soon our hands are tied behind our backs with rope, except for Levi and I, as our hands are chained. For precaution or just to remind us of our last time here, I have no idea.

Slowly we are all dragged through the corridors single file, until we reach what I assume is the main hall of the building. The massive doors are roughly pushed open, and I am forced to walk beside Levi as we lead the Survey Corps into the large chamber. Windows located on the far wall force me to close my eyes for a minute, allowing them time to adjust to the sudden burst of light.

As we meet the middle of the room, we are once again pushed to our knees. In front of us a long wooden table is covered in maps and documents, two men with their backs to us discuss in hushed voices. Only when we are all kneeling submissively, do they acknowledge us.

Levi’s uncle and my father haven’t changed at all since the last time I had saw them. Levi’s uncle still had his rough, angular facial features and my father still had his oily hair and round glasses.

“I thought you were lying when you said you managed to capture the entire Survey Corps, Kenny!” My father says amused. I guess Levi’s uncle’s name is Kenny, that’s new.

But... this means they don't know that Levi's squad is still at the base! This could give us a massive advantage!

“Of course I wasn’t bluffing!” Kenny replies in a thick accent. My father ignores him.

“Good morning Mikasa, Armin. I’m sorry you had to get involved in this, you were good kids,” my childhood friends stare at my father with surprise, even Mikasa, who usually shows no emotion. They haven’t seen nor heard from him in years, and he had just greeted them like nothing had happened. Like they were still children...

Kenny approaches Levi until he is standing before him, and then crouches and places his face in front of Levi’s.

“You did a real stupid thing escaping, boy,” he snaps. Levi smirks and proceeds to spit in his face. Kenny quietly rises to his feet, as a crazy glint enters his eye.

“You’re going to regret that,” he states calmly.

“Am I?” Levi asks, frustrating Kenny more.

Kenny only grins and turns towards me. I cower before him as he raises his foot and kicks me in the chest, pain blossoms as the crack of my ribs echoes around the room. The torture is happening all over again. I curl in on myself, laying my head on the floor. I solely focus on controlling my breathing as shouts of protest ring around the hall.

“Bastard!” Levi angrily growls at Kenny.

The funs only beginning,” he says with blood lusting eyes focused on me.
