Ryuu kneeled in front of the man he thought of as a ruler, and a person who will help all non benders alike to rise up and face their oppressors with pride that they will not only beat them- they will wipe them out.
He smiled at himself internally, glad that he had followed his orders to capture a powerful bender. Not only that- but he had injured them both mentally and physically as well.
'Are you proud of me mom, dad? I'm getting revenge for you' He thought.
Everything was going well for him, and the era of bending was soon to end at the hands of Amon.
"What do I do now, Amon?" He questioned the masked man, who just turned and crossed his arms behind his back.
"Nothing" Ryuu looked at Amon, now confused. "But-"
"I said nothing. The only thing I need you to do now is to stay out of my way" Ryuu frowned, narrowing his eyes at the words that his elected god had spoke.
Ryuu paused for a moment, hesitantly nodding. "Are you going to cleanse the earth bender soon?" Ryuu spoke of Rikka like speaking of her was acid to his tongue.
Bender's were disgusting, even he was disgusting in his own eyes due to his fire bending. The only thing bending ever did was create tragedies around the world.
For too long have the benders been everything with their bending, while the non benders are shoved to the bottom of the food chain.
They deserved to get their bending taken away.
Especially the benders like the avatar.
Rikka groaned in pain as she sat up, looking around the room. She lifted a hand to her head as memories from the night before appeared, her now remembering what he had done to her. Rikka lightly pressed her fingers against the wound, hissing in pain as she touched the flesh.
She looked around the room. She was alone- and though Rikka often preferred to be alone she teared up, wanting nothing but for someone to come and take her away from this place.
If only she could metal bend her way out if this.
She knew what was soon to come- After all Ryuu had been working with Amon after all; him having revealed it to her before he knocked her out. Laying back against the wooden wall and bringing her knee's to her chest, she sighed in exasperation.
Rikka sat up, a twinge of hope appearing as the door opened. Though it quickly disappeared when Amon and Ryuu appeared in the opening of the door.
"Ryuu, leave" Ryuu glanced at Amon in confusion, before nodding and walking out of the room.
As soon as the fire bender left the room Rikka found it hard to even move as the insurgent man blood bended her up from where she sat. Rikka struggled to get free from her invisible bonds. "You're a bender?" She stuttered out, finding it hard to breathe as she was lifted from the ground.
Rikka pleaded for Amon to stop, crying out in pain as her arms were twisted behind her back. Amon set Rikka back on the ground, grabbing the back of the bender's neck and forcing her to the ground before shoving his thumb onto her forehead, blocking her from bending.
Amon smiled behind his mask. Amon: 5, Benders: 0
Rikka quietly whimpered in fear as Amon held her in place, her eyes darting around the metal room as his thumb was pressed against her forehead.
This was it.
Her bending was taken away, and she could no longer bend.
Amon released Rikka from his hold, allowing the ex-bender to limply fall to the metal floor.
Would this have still happened if she had stayed with her grandmother?
Would she still have gotten the things she now held dearest to her?-- Her mother and father's possessions?
Even those were taken away from her.
After a while of laying limp on the floor, Rikka got up and sat on the bed.
She was nothing now that she didn't have her bending.
Soon enough Ryuu entered the room once again, smirking at her. "So how's being a non bender going, Rikka?"
Rikka glared at him, crossing her arms over her chest. "Can't you just go away?" She questioned. Ryuu rolled his eyes at her.
"Here" Ryuu walked over to Rikka, pulling her arms away from her chest and placing handcuffs on her.
Leading the ex-bender out of the room and to another room with more people, Ryuu shoved Rikka forward as she walked.
Being shoved into the room, Rikka huffed in annoyance after gaining her footing back. She turned and glared at him as he closed the door before turning to the other prisoners and sparing them a glance.
Walking over to a corner, she sat down and pulled her knee's up to her chest.
This was just a big mess.
