Rikka frowned, staring into the distance. It had been a month since Amon had attacked the city. A moth since she had lost her bending forever.

A month since her face was scarred.

Hot tears slipped down her cheeks as she pulled her knee's up to her chest, still watching the sunset.

The bender's whom had lost their bending slowly all slipped into a depression, Rikka, Korra, and Lin being the ones whom had fallen the deepest.

Would this had of still happened if she had never met Ryuu? Rikka didn't know, but she did know that she was glad that the pythonocanda was gone and out of her life.

Rikka knew she was nothing without her bending.

"Rikka?" Mako's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. Rikka lifted her head and looked over at Mako.

"What?"

"It's getting dark out. You should come inside"

Rikka sighed, hesitantly nodding. "Alright" She got up from the ground before walking to the house.

Mako frowned, looking into the darkness for a few moments. Both him and Bolin didn't know how to cheer their two friends up.

It was like they were being sucked into a hole of darkness.

-----------------------------

"Rikka! catch!" Bolin called out, throwing a bag of chips her way. Rikka's eyes widened, flashbacks flashing through her mind as she blankly.

Not saying anything, Ryuu lunged forwards and punched a ball of fire towards Rikka.

Rikka's eyes widened at the fire benders sudden movement, making an attempt to dodge the fire. She screamed in pain as the flame impressed itself against the side of her face.

She jumped back, clutching the wound that stretched from her eye to the bottom of her left cheek. Rikka's knee's buckled, still clutching the wound as she fell to her knee's. She sobbed in pain, the pain radiating throughout her face.

"It's your own fault that you got hurt" Ryuu retorted, seemingly annoyed that the injured female was making so much noise.

"Rikka?" Bolin gently shook her shoulders, trying to snap the dissociating girl out of it as she stared ahead into nothing, her breathing becoming harsher.

The bag of chips that had been thrown at Rikka layed on the ground, a hole through the bag.

Rikka gripped her father's knife tighter, shaking in fear.

He was going to come back, isn't he?

She shook her head, now looking at Bolin who had pulled her into a hug.

Rikka placed her father's knife back into it's sheathe, scolding herself for using it for such a petty reason.

Slowly, she hugged Bolin back.

Maybe she would be able to heal after all.
