It had only been a few days since the equalists captured Bolin, and god did Rikka hate herself. She just stood there unable to do anything as Amon almost took her friends bending away. Did Bolin hate her now? If so would he ever be able to forgive her? Thoughts and questions ran through Rikka's head as she glared at the ground.
Not only that- but it had been only a week since Ryuu had "convinced" her that she they were a couple. Rikka regretted her decision more and more each day- mostly because Ryuu hadn't let her see her friends, even after the incident where Bolin almost lost his bending.
Everything was tiring, and Rikka didn't know how long she could deal with his bullshit before leaving or worse- snapping.
She hated the name Ryuu. She hated his personality, his clothes. She hated everything about him.
She hated how he was so charming and cute.
She hated how he hugged her when she was sad and how he pressed chaste kisses against her forehead at night--
Maybe this wasn't a bad thing at all.
Rikka sighed, running a hand through her hair in exasperation. Her mind went to what had happened the other day.
--------------------------------
"See you later, Ryuu" Rikka grinned lightly as she stared at the male whom was sitting on the couch. She grabbed her keys from the table and made her way over to the door.
Ryuu narrowed his eyes at that, getting up from his place on the couch. "Where are you going?" He asked, leaning against the wall and glowering at me.
Rikka turned and glanced at him, obviously annoyed. "I'm going to see my friends"
Ryuu narrowed his eyes at that, getting up from his place on the chair. "Where are you going?" I turned and glanced at him in annoyance. "I'm going to see my friends"
"No you're not" He stated harshly, slamming his fist against the wall. Rikka rolled her eyes in reply. "I don't care what you say, Ryuu"
With that, Rikka walked out the door before Ryuu could advance towards her and grab her wrist like he had done before.
--------------------------------
Rikka wished that she had known that he was like this before she let him convince her that they were in a relationship- though she would never tell anyone that.
"You must've hit your head" Was Ryuu's favorite excuse, knowing that Rikka was prone to tripping due to not paying attention.
Huffing lightly, Rikka silently made her way through the living room of Ryuu's house and out the door, making a successful escape while the controlling and abusive male was still asleep.
She really wished that they had never met.
Rikka hopped on her motorcycle, turning it on and drove to the docks. She quickly parked the motorcycle before getting off it and walking onto a faerie.
It was early in the morning- early enough for the moon to be still out. She was hoping to be back before mid day so she wouldn't have to deal with Ryuu's lecturing.
Rikka needed to talk to Korra before she any further into this "relationship" of hers and Ryuu's.
--------------------
i'mma time skip this shit bc it makes no point to write this part
all she literally did was get off the faerie and decided to sleep in a tree bc tiredness is a bitch and plus korra wasn't awake yet so.
"Hey! You!" Rikka was awoken by a guard yelling at her. She glanced down at them in annoyance from her position on the branch she was on. "Do you mind shutting up? I'm trying to get some shut eye up here"
Rikka groaned, stretching as she sat up. "Don't get your panties in a bunch; I was just sleeping" She back flipped off the branch as the guard fire bended at her.
"Is getting sleep illegal in the fire nation?" She sarcastically asked, glaring at him as she gained her footing back from almost tripping while landing.
"What is this?" A voice snapped the guard out from mid attack. He turned and faced the tattooed air bender.
"Tenzin, sir. This girl trespassed onto your property" Tenzin inhaled sharply in annoyance, his eyebrows furrowing.
"What was she doing?"
"She-" The guard stopped mid speech, sighing. "She was sleeping, sir"
He rose a eyebrow in confusion.
Rikka snorted before looking at the man with the tattoo's. "Do you know where Korra is?"
"What business do you have with her?"
"Oh I don't know. I'm just a teenage girl looking for someone to kill" Rikka sarcastically stated. The two older men got into fighting stances, not getting the joke. Rikka sighed in annoyance, putting her hands up in surrender.
"Alright you got me I'm her friend."
"Follow me then" Tenzin sighed in relief, glancing at the teen warily a few times.
Rikka nodded silently, following after the air bender as he led her into a building. She grinned and waved at Korra as she came into view. "Rikka? What're you doing here?" She stood up, questioning me as the family around her spoke loudly.
She went silent, anticipating on wither to actually tell her or not.
Sighing, she broke the silence between the two. "I need to talk to you about Ryuu" Rikka crossed her arms over her chest.
Korra nodded in understanding, walking over to me before turning to face the family. "Pema, can you please come with us please" A pregnant woman looked up from scolding her youngest son, nodding silently before getting up and walking over to the man from earlier. She kissed his cheek, handing him the boy she was scolding. "Watch the kids for me please"
Tenzin silently nodded.
She then followed us into another room.
Rikka took a seat on a couch, frowning. "So what about Ryuu, Rikka?"
She glanced at the ground for a few moments, disappointed in herself. Sighing, she finally spoke. "Well- He's really controlling" Rikka pulled her knee's up to her chest as the two others stared at her in concern. "A couple day's ago he told me that we were dating, and when I told them that we weren't he got physical"
Korra narrowed her eyes at that, angry that Ryuu had hurt her friend. Pema looked from Korra to Rikka, her eyes filled with worry.
"You should get out of there, and if you can't- let the police deal with it" She offered a small smile, in which Rikka smiled back at her. "I'll try"
just a filler bc
