I've Found You

Chapter 12: New Spark

If you didn't read the small note at the bottom of the last chapter, this takes place 4 months after the accident.

Normal POV

I groaned and leaned up against a tree for support, holding my tank. It's only 3 am and the sparkling wants OUT. 

"Silver, quit it. I can't recharge with you groaning every two seconds.", Sideswipe complained, I pushed him awake with my pede, "Mmmmmh what."

He adjusted his position and closed his optics.

"Sideswipe! You have a medical background, right?", I asked, wincing.

"Mmmmm sort of. Why?", Sideswipe asked and opened his optics to look at me.

"Because the sparkling is coming!", I snapped and he jolted awake.

"Hokay then.", Sideswipe sat up.

~time skip~

I smiled as I held the sparkling in my arms. It's a mech. Sideswipe went back to recharge a while ago while I tended to my sparkling. I looked up as a groundbridge opened. After waking up Sunstreaker, I ducked behind a tree.

"Where is she?", I heard after the first bot stepped through.

"Silver, its the Autobots.", Sunstreaker called out.

"Send Optimus my way. I want him to see him.", I said and within seconds my mate was in front of me.

"Primus, I've missed you.", he brought me into an embrace and I returned it, "I love you so much and I am so sorry."

"I love you too. I knew you wouldn't abandon me and I knew you would find me.", I pecked his lips and pulled away, my face getting serious though I was hiding my playfulness, "We need to talk a-"

"I know. I have been a horrible mate and-", I cut him off.

"Optimus! It's got nothing to do with that. It's got to do with this guy.", I brought the sparkling in front of my face and I felt his surprise through our bond.

"I-is he....?", Optimus looked at me, his optics wide.

"Yes, he's ours. He was born a few hours ago. I wanted you to be the first to see him. Here.", I handed the sparkling to him, "I figured out any designations for him so I figured you could name him."

Optimus studied the young mech. His paint job is mostly dark blue with a little silver and light blue. He has Optimus' audio receptors. He has my bright blue-silver optic color and my frame, though he is a little more bulkier than me. He also has a little bit of red flames on his helm.

"How about MagnaBlade?", Optimus asked, smiling at the young mech.

"It suits him. Come on, lets show the others.", I walked out from behind the tree and watched Optimus carry our mechling cautiously.

It's not that I don't trust Optimus. The two are just too much alike. I wouldn't be surprised if I was looking at Magna and called him Optimus. I hugged sire and carrier, telling them that I missed them and love them. I walked over to Wheeljack and did the same.

"Oh, and sorry about your ship.", I rubbed my arm.

"Don't worry about it, Silver. I'm just glad you are both okay. Wait- you are both okay, right?", he asked.

"The sparkling is fine. Optimus has him.", I smile though immediately gasped as a bunch of bots ran past me towards Optimus to see the new sparkling.

I laughed at his surprised face and made my way through the crowd. He handed me the sparkling while he called base for a bridge. I said goodbye to the twins and thanked Sideswipe before heading through. When I arrived on the other side, Jack, Miko, and Raf perked up when they heard my laughter.

"Silver!", they yelled, I immediately shushed them.

I handed MagnaBlade to Optimus and he took our mechling to berth. I activated my holoform and started hugging my friends.

"Who's the baby?", Miko asked.

"His designation is MagnaBlade and he's my son.", I answered, "Well, mine and Optimus' son."

"Whoa! That's so cool!", Raf smiled.

"Yeah. Way to go, Silver.", Jack smirked and winked at me, my face turned a bright red, "Bet you two had fun."

"Jackson Darby, be quiet!", I blushed, "I don't need the whole base to know!"

I walked off after deactivating my holoform. I walked into my shared berthroom and crawled ontop of Optimus who was already in recharge. I looked over to the makeshift crib Jackie put together and smiled at Magna. I kissed Optimus and seen him smile in his recharge before falling into recharge myself.
