I've Found You

Chapter 18: The Legendary Sword

I sighed as I sat in the main room on the floor with MagnaBlade. I closed my optics in an attempt to get some recharge. However, I had to open my optics again as I heard metal landing on the floor. MagnaBlade looked up at sire with innocent optics as he glared at the youngling.

"Magna, come here. Don't climb on your grandsire's tools.", I said as I picked the youngling up, "Sorry, sire. He's getting a little grabby......that came out wrong."

I heard Miko giggle and looked over at her with a raised optic ridge. I set MagnaBade on my hip and walked off with him. I set him down in his crib in my shared berthroom and ran out to the main silo after hearing an alarm.

"What's going on?", I asked.

"Decepticons. They're digging up a relic.", sire said, I heard laughing but paid no attention to it.

"Where's Optimus and the rest of the team?", I asked.

"They are currently scouting an Energon mine. You'll have to go with Smokescreen. I'm not sending my youngling out there on her own.", I smiled at sire and he activated the bridge, "Rest assured, Silver. I will take care of MagnaBlade."

I nodded and went through the bridge with Smokescreen. When we reached the other side, we took cover. I peered over the rocks and serveyed the area. Smokescreen jumped over the rock he wasn't hiding behind and rushed into battle.

I shook my helm and continued to servey the area. I heard grunting and looked up. Smokescreen was attempting to pull the relic out. How hard is it to pull a relic out of the fragging-

"By Primus. The Star Sabor.", I gasped and commend sire, "Sire, it's the Star Sabor. The cons found it."

::Silver, you need to get that relic before Megatron does. Now!:: I heard crying in the background and the link was cut.

I looked back over at Smokescreen to see him distracting the cons. I started shooting at them as the rock that held the Sabor started rising. I looked up at the ship and seen a long cable attached to the rock that held he relic.

Immediately, I ceased fire and took off toward the Sabor. I heard Megatron yelling at the Vehicons to find Prime. He must think Optimus is here. I have the element of surprise. I looked over at the ship and went into overdrive. I jumped off the cliffiside and grabbed ahold of the Sabor as Optimus and the others came through a groundbridge. 

The sword slipped out easily and I started falling. I landed on my back and looked at the mech who saved me. Optimus. I kissed him quickly as the cons retreated to their warship. He set me down and gasped as the rock was dropped. I stood frozen. 

Optimus quickly grabbed the Sabor and sliced the mountain in half. He handed the sword back to me after I moved again. I sent a powerful wave at the ship and watched as it collided with the engine. The ship shook.

"I-it can do that?", Smokescreen asked.

Optimus called for a groundbridge and we all went through.

"Here.", I said to Optimus. "You have it."

I handed the Sabor to Optimus as we exited the groundbridge.

"How epic was that?", Smokescreen asked me and copied my movements, "I saw it with my own optics but I still don't believe it."

"You better believe it, Smokescreen.", I grinned, "I'll be back. I'm going to get MagnaBlade."

"Leave him be.", I turned to sire, "He's recharging."

"Very well. Still though, I'm going to recharge. It's been a long time since I've recharged.", I sighed at the thought and turned to Optimus, "You coming?"

"I will. I need to take care of a few things first.", Optimus answered and set the tip of the blade on the ground.

"Okay. Don't stay up too long.", I smiled and walked off to my berthroom.

There you go, another chapter. This book is coming to an end as the end of the Season is getting closer. Book three will be published in June of 2017, July at the latest. Just thought I'd let you know.
