My V-Card

Chapter 1

"Hoy! Maggie!" Sigaw ni Sarah, the most loyal friend I have since kinder. She's running breathlessly towards me, may sasabihing importante yata.

"Ano ba?"Inis kung sabi nang sinampal niya ang kabila kong braso. I looked at her with straight eyebrows.

"Nandito na siya!!!"Sigaw ng loka loka kong kaibigan for the second time. What the heck!?  I don't know what's she's talking about.

"Sinong siya?" Tanong ko,  she's just there at my side rolling her eyes after I asked. Sino ba naman ang tinutukoy mo Sarah?!?

"Sino pa bah? ede si Xander!!!" Sigaw niya ng lahat ng estudyante ng campus ang nakarinig, ano bang klaseng espirito ang sumapi sa kaibigan ko at nagaganito siya ? It's the third time she shouted,  isa pa Sarah, I will remove your tongue in no time!

Xander!?  Oh please...

"So? Wala akong pakialam"Sungit kong sabi kasi, I walked in our school's lobby like a model doing her catwalk in the runway,  pak!

Si Xander na ito ang  "it boy"ng campus na nililigawan ako for 5 months and counting, I received letters, books, chocolates and a lot of things I can't remember the name from him pero nanatili akong heart broken, I burned them all.  From the experience I got from my ex,  I learned my lesson.

People's dagger like stares can't be avoided,  I am wearing a white privè t shirt and a high waisted fit jeans that surely emphasize my bottoms. I paired them with a black adidas sneakers and a high ponytail to show my neck.

Ng nakaabot na kami sa classroom, I put down my books and other references, I then took another look of myself in the mirror before sitting. We waited for like 15 minutes before our class adviser came in. 

"Ms.Maggie Mendez." Tawag ng adviser namin. Lahat naman ng mga classmates ko ang nakatitig sa akin. I just stayed in my chair expecting something from our adviser.

"Very good! You have the highest average this grading! Let's give her a warm of applause." Ako ang nakakakuha ng highest average, lahat naman sila nag-clap para sa akin, last week was our departmental week and I am very proud because I didn't expect this much to happen. 

I know my parents will be so happy, can't wait.

After nang whole class namin this morning we head to the canteen for lunch, and ang dami ng mga schoolmates ko ang nag congratulate sa akin, some just smiled at me, naka post kasi sa board ang mga top this grading...

Ang saya ko sobra! Palagi nalang kasi ako sa second, unbeatable kasi yung top last grading period, what happened to her? Bakit siya sa second?

"Grabe ka gurl! Naunahan mo si Adrianna Martinez. " sabi ni Sarah, I don't want to boast this success at all,  I am staying humble as possible.

"Oo nga noh? Anong nangyare sa kanya?" Worried kong tanong, she was very outstanding,  I wondered why she didn't made it  to the top this quarter.

"Di mo ba alam? Nagkahiwalay kasi yung parents niya last two weeks." That shocked me,  how terrible.  That must be very hard for her to handle.

"Ah kaya...affected narin siya." Malungkot kong sabi.
Nong grade five ko pa kasi siya naging classmate, siya narin ang valedictorian noong grade six.. pero worth ang hardwork ko ngayon... I'm really happy.

Kumakain lang kami nang nakita ko si Xander the great papunta sa table namin. A playful smirk is plastered on his face, nang naabot niya ang table namin, he got so close to me.

"Congrats bhebhe ko" He kissed my cheeks and I felt it was heating up so fast..

I was caught off guard.
