Chapter 27 × Spider Head ×

Sonata's POV

After that little nightmare.

Like Raven and I predicted, Robin gave me a good nagging.

<Flashback>

"What the hell happened to your knuckles?! Why are they covered in blood?!"

"Hahahaha...about that---"

"I don't want to hear it! Let's just clean it up." Robin said getting up from my bed and dragging me to the bathroom.

Now I am currently in town looking for a new guitar.

Although...It hasn't been so successful.

"Where the heck am I going to find a nice, good looking guitar in Jump City?!"

"I told you we should have went to the next town. They've got more quality stuff there." Robin said while we were both walking down the street and back to his motorcycle.

"Nag.Nag.Nag.Nag. I got it already sheesh. No need to nag my ears off." I said.

"I may nag but it's for your own good." Robin said,

"Besides weren't you the one that suggested we be alone for the day?" Robin whispers in my ears.

"Damn...you..." I said through gritted teeth while blushing mad.

*Beep*

Robin fishes the communicator out of his pocket and his expression turns serious.

"What happened?" 

"Trouble. Downtown. Let's go." Robin said grabbing my hand and dragging me to his R-Cycle.

Robin gets on his bike first and puts his helmet on.

"Come on. We've got no time to lose." Robin said.

I get on the bike, right behind him and wrap my arms around his waist.

"Hold now. I wouldn't want to lose you." Robin said.

"You won't. I know you'll lose it if you do." I said proudly.

Just when I thought we were about to leave, Robin immediately hits the accelerator making the bike fly up.

Me, being the scaredy cat I am, cling for dear life onto Robin.

Robin laughs at my scared state and I glare at him.

"What?" Robin said laughing.

"Aren't we supposed to be leaving now?" I ask still glaring at him.

"Hahahaha. Alright. Sorry." Robin said chuckling and we finally leave this time.

After a while  we met up with the others along the way.

I use one of my hands and wave at Cyborg and Raven who were in his car.

When we finally arrived, we---

"What the fuck is that?" I ask with wide eyes.

"That. Is our thief." Robin said.

There was a guy or thing or--WHATEVER IT HAS A SPIDER HEAD FOR PETE'S SAKE IT AIN'T EASY TO DESCRIBE!

*Ehem* Anyways--Spider head with the stolen jewelry on his long hairy legs, pulls out a ray gun and shoots it at us.

While we were distracted, the spider took advantage of it and made a run for it.
