The next day Justin and I packed up camp."We have to keep moving or else they'll find us." He said.
"Who'll find us?" I asked.
He sighed, "You have so many questions."
"I'm sorry." I said.
He looked at me, "I don't blame you. To answer the question though, The Counts."
"The Counts?" I asked
"Yea, they are a scientific group for the unexplained." he replied.
"Kinda like Sci Fi?" I asked. I was secretly hoping it was so I could be the good Alien like in the movies.
He laughed, "Yes and no. We are Aliens to them since we come from a different planet, but they don't know that. They think we are just normal humans with powers. They also study monsters such as ghosts, demons, and spirits."
"So, they study things that don't exist?" I asked.
He laughed again, "We exist, Tara. The ghosts and stuff however, i'm not so sure."
"You know what I mean." I said looking at him.
We kept hiking and after a few minutes I had another question. I thought he would sigh and say that's enough, but to my surprise he didn't. However he didn't answer it.
"So.. you said we were aliens. What planet are we from?" I asked.
"Interesting question, for another time." He said.
I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "For another time?"
"Yea, I cannot tell you everything just yet." he replied.
"Are there more of.. Us?" I asked.
"Yes, there are more of us, but only one of each Color are on Earth." he replied
"So i'm the only Indigo on earth?" I asked.
"Yea." he replied simply and then started walking again. I Followed.
About two hours into the hike I started getting tired. It was really hot and I didn't know where we were going. I asked Justin, but of course, he didn't tell me anything. He kept saying you don't need to know everything just yet. Ugh. I feel like I might burst if he tells me that one more time.
We came across a deserted town. It looked vacant, but we couldn't be sure. It looked old like one of those old western towns you see in movies. We walked cautiously in the town. I never got the chance to ask Justin which Color he was and how to tell, but i'm sure he wouldn't tell me.
One question, though, started to fill my mind. What did he mean when he said, 'Oh, you don't remember me then.' It was bothering me that he wouldn't tell me anything. I tried asking him, but he just shook his head at me.
Another thing was that he was 578 years old. How did he look like he was sixteen if he was 578 years old? I didn't know the answer and didn't bother asking Justin. I knew what he would say so why bother?
Suddenly Justin stopped dead. I bumped into him and mumbled sorry.
"Shhh." He said and started creeping slowly his hands out as if he was holding a gun.
I walked behind him wondering why he had his hands like that. I heard footsteps from far away on the other side of the town. I could see he had a gun. Before I could warn Justin I heard the first gunshot.
"Get down!" Justin yelled.
In an instant, I was on the ground and bullets were being fired. Justin fired a ball of electricity at the guy and the man went down with a scream. He didn't stop firing, though.
