"You're late."

I have never been late; not even once in my life that I have broken my family law of punctuality. Before, I was always taught by my parents on how to be punctual -- to always follow the given due date and time. It would be better if I was early though, they tell me.

"My sincerest apologies, sir."

But now, here I am bowing down to my Mathematics teacher -- who happens to be an idealist as well -- and apologizing for my two-minute delay.

"Well you did come for your extra classes, at least," Kunikida sighed, followed by a straight glare towards my direction. "But I wasn't informed about you bringing another student at this time."

Oh, right. I forgot that mast-- I mean, Akutagawa came along with me. He wouldn't accept going home on his own, no matter how much I tried to convince him that he may just get bored waiting for me to finish the session. Or maybe even hearing Mathematics from Kunikida may bore him.

And yet he still insisted to come.

"Where are you going?" His emotionless question ringed to my ears, never failing to make me stop in my tracks.

"I have extra classes with Kunikida," I quickly said, trying to immediately end the conversation. "And please, excuse me Ryuu, I am already late."

As I attempted to quickly walk away, Akutagawa grabbed me by the head, my hair filling the spaces between his fingers. He coughed -- as usual -- before proceeding to speak to me in a threatening way.

"What did I tell you about calling me 'Ryuu'?"

I gulped. Please don't hurt me again; I have been hurt enough for today.

"S-Sorry, master." A faint voice escaped my lips. I just hope he heard it.

Great. Now I am truly late for Kunikida.

Akutagawa had let go in a pushing manner, but not the forceful kind of push. He looked at me again, this time with a calmer expression but still retaining his stoic face.

"I'm coming with you," he said as a command rather than a normal statement. "I... I have nothing to do at home."

"We have homework for Chuuya due for tomorrow," I low key protested, not wanting him to come with me. "Besides, you might get bored in there?"

He rolled his eyes in distaste. "I'm coming, Ira. That's an order."

"Fine." I grunted, giving up the excuses. If it's an order from him, it is something that I cannot reject, for giving in to anything he tells me to do is part of the contract.

Everything except that he is not allowed to kill me.

"Uh, I hope you don't mind, sir." I [embarrassingly] smiled, trying to seem convincing as possible. Akutagawa sighed behind me, probably despising how 'stupid' I look like now in front of Kunikida.

"I don't, as long as he doesn't mess around while I try to teach you."

I heard a small 'tch' coming from Akutagawa, followed by a mumble in which I heard "It's not like I care to mess around."

I gave a small giggle to what he said, going ahead to take a seat in the front row near Kunikida's table. Akutagawa proceeded to seat on the same row as me, but went to the spot near the wall since he wasn't really part of this extra classes anyway. He's good at the subject; he doesn't need extra classes.

Unlike me. I am an extreme idiot in this subject. It is one subject that I can't easily learn or understand quickly.

While Kunikida is reteaching me the whole lesson that we had today, I couldn't help but take a short glance at my master. Right now, I am assuming that he is starting to work on the homework I was referring to a while ago, since I do take an hour or more in this extra class. The more I tell myself to focus on Mathematics right now, the more that I keep on looking at his direction.
