CHAPTER 5: Aidan

So I currently, am going crazy. I saw her today, Jessica, but there was nothing for me to save her from. Does this mean that my dreams have no real meaning? Can I never believe anything from my dreams? I guess not.

She was even more beautiful than in my dreams, I wanted to tell her everything, but she would probably have called the police. I wish I had listened when she said she recognized me. Did she dream about me? I hope she forgets this day and me; it would make life easier for both of us. But that probably wont happen; nothing ever goes my way. I am finally home, how have I never run into her before, if she was running around here she can't live that far, and my dreams can take me anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up on another continent one day. I wonder what she's doing, is she thinking about me? I was floating in the pool thinking about my day.

"Aidan! I'm talking to you!" Claire was standing over me blocking the sun.

"What? Can't you see I'm busy Claire?” I shout still a bit unnerved.

"Mom and dad want to have a family meeting, and you just happen to be a part of this family so you need to go to the family room, wherever the hell it is." She glares at me.

"What family room? We have a family room?" I ask as I hop out of the pool.

"Apparently so, and we need to go there so hurry up." She says. I grab my towel and walk towards the house-dripping wet.

"Mom is going to kill you if you soak the house with pool water." She calls after me.

"She won't even notice, she doesn't ever notice anything I do." I say smirking at her.

Just as I open the door my mom is standing there and says," Don't even think about entering this house all wet young man!"

"Damn it." I mutter under my breath before saying," Yes of course mom, what was I thinking?" Nothing ever ends well when my parents start paying attention and caring. It all ends in tears. Like our 7th grade birthday party, it started out fine but then our dad made the clown cry. He told him that his animal balloons were lame and apparently, lame balloons are a reason for a grown man to cry.
