Jughead left the house early; he told Arabella something about having breakfast with Betty today.
The young Queen didn't mind because she knew that this would further King Beanie and the Square's relationship.
It was a cute thing that the two had. They were happy, and though they didn't look like they were perfect for each other, they definitely were. It was just a feeling that Ara had.
While that was happening, Archie had asked Arabella to come to his audition for the school Variety Show.
The girl was iffy about waking up earlier than normal, but Archie was her friend; how could she not go and support him?
The girl walked into the auditorium, smiling when she saw Archie sitting with The Pussycats. And though Arabella was hesitant to sit with them when she saw Veronica, she still did.
"Hey, guys," Ara smiled, sitting down next to Archie. "I'm not too late, am I?"
"No," Arch smiled at his ex-girlfriend. "Thanks for being here, Bella. It means a lot."
The young Queen smiled softly at her friend before Kevin, whom was running the talent show, called Archie's name for him to audition.
The red-head stood up and walked onto the stage; all of the girls who were sitting with him looked at the boy proudly.
"What will you be auditioning with?" Kevin asked the boy who had a guitar clutched tightly in his grasp.
"Uh, an original song that I wrote called 'I'll Try'," the Weasley said, sounding a little nervous. It was then when Arabella remembered what had happened last time Archie was on stage.
For music class in third grade, the kids had to sing for a small show that the school put on, and when Ara was standing next to Archie, he barfed on her old sneakers in the middle of his solo in 'My Favorite Things' from The Sound of Music.
It was the whole class, but for some reason, Archie felt like all eyes were on him. And Arabella ended up getting new sneakers.
The young Queen was about to stand and object to Archie auditioning in front of his annoying teammates, whom were sitting behind the group of girls, but the boy had already begun his audition... by sweating and heavily breathing.
"Try harder! Maybe try not sucking so much!" The too familiar voice of Reggie shouted to her friend.
Annoyed with the boy, Arabella didn't like ignoring people who insulted her friends.
The girl stood up and angrily turned to the group of jocks. "Hey, Reggie! Shut up before I rip your tounge out of your mouth and put it in a meat grinder along with what little dignity you have left!"
The black-haired boy gave an embarassed stare to the young Queen before she sat back down.
"Nice one, girl," Veronica complimented, high-fiving Bella.
Everyone payed attention to Archie once again, but it was too late because the boy was already off the stage and nearly out the door.
Arabella got up quickly; the girl's attempting to follow her, but she asked for a few minutes alone with him.
"Arch!" The girl nearly shouted before catching up to him.
"Hey," she said, grabbing his significantly larger hand in her smaller one. "What happened? You were dying out there."
"Thanks for the mood booster, Bella," he said sarcastically, still kind of failing because he was definitely not good at being sarcastic. "When I was up there, though, I just... I don't know. I kind of just froze."
