it's been 4 years since Davina's death and 4 years since Marcel put the Mikealsons down with Klaus remaining in a chamber but not everything is as it seems, soon after Hayley left New Orleans with baby Hope and four coffins containing Klaus's comato...
I nervously stick my hands in my pants pockets fiddling with the little black box as I wait for Davina to come down. Tonight I'm taking her out for a romantic night out as she's been feeling really down due to her pregnancy hormones the last two days and I really want to cheer her up plus I want to spend some time alone with her before the baby comes. Tonight is going to be a very good night, you see I'm going to ask Davina to marry me and before you ask no it's not because she's pregnant, I was actually planning on asking her to marry me 5 years ago but obviously things didn't work in our favour but here we are today, Davina is alive, we have a wonderful son and another beautiful child on the way and I've never been more happier but I want more with Davina, I want her as mine for eternity, I want her to be my wife. A smile appears on my face when Davina appears at the top of the stairs and starts making her way down, Rebekah is behind her, she came over to help Davina get ready and she's babysitting Zander with Marcel while me and Davina go out, Rebekah knows that I'm going to propose to Davina she actually caught me with the ring and she squealed with delight and she had been helping me with what to say to her as I've never done anything like this and I was beyond nervous but Rebekah finding out and willing to help really did give me a confidence boost.
I take Davina's hand in mine as she stood in front of me "you look gorgeous darling" I say kissing her hand, she's wearing a pretty navy blue baby doll dress with black flats, she can't wear any other type of shoes as her feet are really sensitive due to her pregnancy.
We leave our house after saying goodbye to Zander, Rebekah and Marcel. We get in my car and I start driving to our destination.
45 minutes later
We arrive at the destination, I decided to take Davina to the beach, Davina gets out and gasps with a smile on her face "the beach?" She says "yeah I hope that's okay with you?" I ask "yeah it's perfect I haven't been to the beach in 17 years" she says "well in that case take your shoes off we're going for a little paddle" I say quickly swooping her in my arms bridle style making her shriek in surprise, I grin at her as I walk over to the sea and I gently place her down on the ground, she slips her shoes off and dips one foot in the water, she squeals in surprise from the cold but slowly adjusts to it and dips her other foot in and takes a few steps forward and she signs in content and slightly leans her head back looking up at the sky with her eyes closed, I take that moment to really look at her, she's glowing from her pregnancy, her bump is big and round but it's just perfect, her hair flows from the slight wind, she looks so carefree, I walk up behind her after slipping off my shoes and socks, I wrap my arms around her and bury my head in her neck, she gently nudges me with her head, I smile and sway with her in my arms, I place a hand on her baby bump and grin as the baby kicks.
1 hour later
We're now out of the sea and are lying on the beach just looking up, watching the sun set and I've never felt so content and relaxed in my life other than the first time I ever laid eyes on her. "It's so beautiful" Davina speaks I turn to look at her "yes you are" I say I see the corners of her mouth curve into a smile, she turns her head to face me "I love you" I say she blushes and her eyes glisten with that familiar sparkle that I love "I love you too" she says I smile and take a deep breath as I sit up and get the little box with the ring out "Kol what's wrong?" She asks I don't answer her instead I get up on my knees "D-Davina" I say shakily Davina gasps as she spots the box in my hand and kneels up "Davina I don't know how to start this other than the fact I wanted to do this 5 years ago when you resurrected me, I love you, I'm crazy about you, you give me reason to laugh and smile, you make me a better man, you gave me a wonderful son and you're so kindly giving me another child, you being my girlfriend isn't enough, I want you to be more, I want an eternity with you as my wife so darling will you marry me?" I ask opening the box looking her in the eyes which are now wet and glistening with happiness, she covers her mouth with her hand as she nods "yes, yes I will marry you" she says I smile and take the ring out of the box and slip it on her finger and then I kiss her passionately, we both smile through the kiss, when we finally break apart, she looks at the ring "it's beautiful" she says "good I'm glad you like it by the way just so you know I didn't take it from some dead woman's finger I bought it with actual money because you deserve the perfect ring" I say

"it's perfect I would've said yes even if you got me a gummy ring" she says I chuckle at her response "well now I feel stupid" I joke "it's fine our wedding rings can be gummy rings" she says with a giggle "deal" I say with a chuckle "we should be getting back home" she says I nod and help her up, I pick up her shoes and we head back to my car.
When we arrive home, we enter and find Rebekah and Marcel cuddled up on our couch, I fake gag making Davina giggle and shake her head "hey you're back" Marcel says getting up from the couch, Rebekah gets up too "yeah we had a great time" Davina says "was Zander good for you?" I ask "he was a delight he's currently sleeping" Rebekah replies "Davina why are you wearing an engagement ring? Oh no don't tell me you're marry him?" Marcel asks folding his arms "as a matter of fact I am marrying him because I love him and you might not like him but you're going to have accept this please don't be mad Marcel" Davina says Marcel huffs but nods "fine but I'm still not the biggest fan of this" he replies "you don't have to be you just need to be able to support me with my decisions" Davina says "okay I will support you" he replies "and on that note we're off" Rebekah says pulling Marcel out the room and out the house "and we're alone" I say plopping onto the couch and gently pulling Davina with me, I snuggle her close to me, and we stay like that til we drift off to sleep.

PS I REALLY HOPE DAVINA RETURNS FULLY IN SEASON 4 AND THAT DAVINA AND KOL GET MARRIED, IT WOULD BE THE PERFECT REUNION FOR THEM
