it's been 4 years since Davina's death and 4 years since Marcel put the Mikealsons down with Klaus remaining in a chamber but not everything is as it seems, soon after Hayley left New Orleans with baby Hope and four coffins containing Klaus's comato...
I was chatting with Davina's best friend Josh who had came round to visit her and Zander , we told Josh about our engagement and he's really happy for us well I think he's more happy for Davina than anything but anyway me and Josh were sat playing on the Xbox yes I know it's a little weird for an original vampire to play Xbox but who cares I like xbox. We had just finished a game and were about to start a new one when suddenly Davina screams from upstairs making me and Josh drop the remotes and flash up to our room, upon entering our room we find her sat on the edge of the bed with one hand on her bump rubbing it and the other clutching the bed sheets tightly, her head is facing down and her face is scrunched up in pain and her forehead is sweaty "darling" "Davina" me and Josh say she immediately looks up with teary eyes "Kol it's time the baby's coming" she says before screaming again I hurry over to her and pick her up bridle style "Josh could you get her hospital bag while I take her to the car" I say "sure" he replies I immediately head downstairs and out the door, I gently place her in the passenger seat of my car, just then Josh comes up to me with her hospital bag "dude would you stay and look after Zander for us I'll call you later to bring him to the hospital after the baby is born" I say "sure now go have a baby well not you but you get what I mean good luck" he says I chuckle and wave at him as I get in the car "oh call me if there's any problems with Zander" I say "will do" he says I nod in response turning the car ignition on and pulling out of the driveway, I wave to Josh one last time before driving off down the road
3 hours later
We arrived at the hospital 3 hours ago and Davina is just now starting to push as we had to wait for her to be fully dilated before she could start pushing, I'm stood beside Davina holding her hand "ahhhhh fuck I forgot how much this hurts!" She yells in pain as she pushes I can't help but chuckle at her "don't you fucking dare laugh at me Kol Mikaelson how would you like it if you were pushing something the size of a watermelon out of your.....aghh!" She yells as another contraction hits her and she pushes again "sorry love" I say kissing her forehead enough I'm finding it hard not to laugh don't get me wrong I hate the fact she's in pain but she just has a habit of saying some of the funniest things when she's angry and swearing her head off it's also very hot yes I admit I find her very hot when she's mad it's a major turn on. "Ahhhhh it hurts more than the first time!" Davina yells "it's okay love just take a deep breath" I say moving a strand of her hair behind her ear "ahhh!" She yells before taking a deep breath "alright Miss Claire I can see the head give us another push" the doctor instructs Davina squeezes my hand and takes a deep breath before pushing "ughh!" She yells "that's it one more push then your baby will be here" the doctor says and just like that Davina gives one final push with all her might and falls flat on her back as a little cry fills the room, Davina lifts her head up to see the doctor holding our baby cleaning him or her up gently with a soft towel "it's a girl!" The doctor announces big smiles appear on our faces, I turn to look at Davina with tears in my eyes "a baby girl we have a little girl" I say cubbing Davina's face in my hands and kissing her lips gently pouring all my love and happiness into it, Davina smiles as she pulls back with happy teary eyes "Mr Mikaelson would you like to cut the umbilical cord?" The doctor asks me stepping beside me holding my daughter out to me I turn to face him "yes of course" I say I'm handed some scissors from the midwife and I gently and carefully cut the umbilical cord, the midwife takes her to wrap her up in a clean blanket as I hand the scissors to the doctor, Davina is quickly moved to a different room and a clean bed, the midwife enters with our baby girl and gently places her in Davina's arms "congratulations your daughter is beautiful" the midwife says before exiting the room leaving me and Davina along with our daughter, we look down at her in awe "she's bloody beautiful" I utter in amazement as our little girl sleeps soundly in Davina's arms "she's smaller than Zander was" Davina looks up at me with a smile but she moves her gaze back to our baby, I gently stroke our little girls cheek with my thumb "so precious so perfect" I say "what should we name her?" Davina asks me "I don't know I know we had names picked out but now that she's here none of those names suit her so I'm a little puzzled" I say "well whatever name you come up with that will be her name" she says "you want me to name her?" I ask a little surprised "yeah I named Zander so it's only fair that you name our daughter" she says looking up at me "okay" I say gently pressing my lips against hers only for us to pull away as our little girl squeals we look down to see two little blue eyes staring at us full of curiousity and innocence "she has your eyes" I utter stroking her little cheek which she smiles too in response "she's smiling" I utter a tear falling down my cheek as I continue to fall even more in love with this little girl "it's not because of what you're doing it's because she knows you're her daddy" Davina says "I think I have a name" I say "what is it?" She asks "Grace Melody" I say "it's perfect" she says kissing my cheek.
1 hour later My siblings, Hayley, Hope, Josh and Zander arrive to see the baby, Hope and Zander come in to see her first but they're accompanied by Hayley "what is the baby mommy?" Hope asks "it's a girl" Hayley responds "yay" Hope squeals "Hope quiet down the baby's sleeping" Hayley says "sorry" Hope apologizes Zander lifts his arms out to me, I chuckle and pick him up and sit him on my lap "baby" Zander says pointing at Grace "that's your little sister" I say "she's tiny" he mutters "you were this small once" Davina says "really?" Zander asks "yeah only you were just a little bigger than your sister" she explains "can I play with her?" Zander asks "not yet she's too young and too fragile but you can hold of you want too" I say "can I really?" Zander asks "yes but you have to be really gently with her" Davina says "I be gentle with baby sissy" Zander replies I place him next to Davina and she places Grace in his arms "it nice to meet you lil Grace I'm your brother I love you" he says leaning to press a gentle kiss on her forehead me and Davina look at each other with smiles on our faces.
Hope soon leaves with Hayley, Zander stays with me and Davina and sits on my lap as the rest enter "oh my she's adorable" Rebekah coos as she steps closer to us "she looks like you D" Marcel says wrapping an arm around Rebekah "she's going to grow to be a beautiful young woman" Elijah says "yeah I'm gonna have to get my baseball bat ready to scare off the boys" I say "I second that" Marcel says in agreement "she's beautiful well done brother" Freya says "so what have you named her?" Klaus asks "Grace Melody Mikaelson" me and Davina say "it's a beautiful name it suits her" Rebekah says gently taking Grace's hand in hers and strokes it, a little smile appears on Grace's face as she does making everyone coo at her, this little girl is going to break hearts.
