“What did you do to Uriel?” Cheri asked me as we walked out of the classroom. She glanced at me with a raised eyebrow.
“I don’t know. I didn’t do anything. Who is he anyways?” I asked her, curious to know that that wasn’t his usual behavior. Cheri faced frontward continuing to lead me to my next class which was also hers.
“He just moved here like a month ago, he keeps to himself. He doesn’t speak to anyone unless he really has to and there are rumors going around that he’s gay because he turned down every girl who asked him out. But really I think he’s just shy, I mean no way in hell can he be gay!” Cheri informed me.
“He’s…” I trailed off not knowing just how to describe him. “…different.”
Cheri snorted.

I sat staring at the chalk board and tuned out the teacher that was going on and on about Exponential and Logarithmic equations, finding it boring considering that I had already learned all of that in my previous school. I looked down at my desk and twirled my pen in my hands, the thought of Uriel coming to mind.
Did he not remember me? Was it even him that night? If he did know me why did he pretend he didn’t? Why was he acting weird around me? Did that mean he did remember me? Was he embarrassed? Was he maybe even mad at me? And why did I feel a pull towards him? And why did he seem to glow?
I shook my head to myself. I would go insane if I continued to think about him anymore. I closed my eyes for a fraction of a second and quickly opened them when I felt something grab my leg. I peered downwards at my feet under the desk and saw nothing. I looked at the person sitting next to me and saw their face gone nothing but black shadows and a ugly creature smiling at me with its razor sharp teeth, my tattoo burned and my heart beat increased.
I looked around at my other peers and saw their faces blotched out and dark shadows appeared around them, growing larger. In the corners of the room black tentacles snaked out and a haunting laugh filled my ears. The teacher that was lecturing us and everyone else for the matter didn’t seem to notice what was going around them. The shadows grew and creatures of the dark came towards me, the smell of death suffocating me.
A large figure, a solid mass of black, came gliding towards me. My tattoo now began burning excruciatingly. I couldn’t see a face and I couldn’t even make out if it had limbs. Fear gripped me like a vice and I couldn’t scream or move. I was frozen.
Finally the dark figure began to take shape and the most horrendous sight came to be. Leather red wings unfolded and its face come to light. Horns protruded from its forehead and its orange mustard color eyes that had no pupils stared at me its alien almost human like face looking at me, its mouth twisting into some sort of smile, revealing canine sharp fangs. His skin was the color of blood and as his body began to form, his tail snaked around rapidly like a cats, razors layering it.
Suddenly the room erupted in flames and all I could hear were tortuous cries in the background. The smell of rotting corpses making its way to my nostrils, my body sweating profusely from the overwhelming heat. The tall ugly creature came towards me. It was then that I realized that I was no longer sitting at my desk but standing, nothing but flames and the creature surrounding me.
The creature was now directly before me and my body shivered from the close contact. My tattoo sent a trail of burning agony through my body but it took everything in me not to crumble and beg for my life. The thing, the creature, the devil, opened its mouth. I didn’t move, I didn’t scream, I stood there rigid. Terror in my eyes, my heart beat racing beyond human speeds, and then suddenly a bright golden light flashed behind the dark creature and it turned away from me with a hiss.
