"Alright, time's up!" Rachel's velvety voice called out, and I placed my pencil on top of the test and stretched my arms out.

"Ugh, that was such a long test! I think I bombed it..." Jimin complained, ruffling his already-messy hair.

Namjoon turned to face us in his chair and smiled smugly. "I think I rather did well. It wasn't that hard." he boasted.

Jin rolled his eyes. "Easy for you, since you have an IQ of 148. Not everyone is as smart as you, Joon." Namjoon just stuck his tongue out at the elder.

Jungkook glanced at my face. "What did you get on the question about how old is a person if they are half a century old?" he asked, his eyebrows knitted together.

I shrugged in reply. "I said 50 since a century is 100 years old. Half of 100 is 50."

Yoongi snapped his finger in annoyance. "Darn it! I thought a century was 1000 years, so I wrote 500 years..."

Suddenly, Taehyung slammed his hands on his desk and he stood up so quickly that his chair fell backwards.

"What do you mean 50 or 500 years? I wrote down "Africa"!" he wailed, his eyes bulging out.

We all silently stared at him. Then somebody squeaked, as if they were wiping a window. One by one, everyone started laughing. It was so funny to the point that Jimin was on the floor howling from laughter and Hoseok was wheezing from laughing so much. Even I was giggling along with them.

I guess they weren't all that bad.

After few minutes, Rachel returned to the room and took us to another room, but it was full of different styles of guns. Countless arms were laid out on a long counter table and there were boxes of magazines next to it.

The boys crowded the table to ooh and ahh about the guns. I rolled my eyes playfully at their excitement.

Pshh.. boys and guns, really..

Rachel let us pick out a gun of our choice and told us to go a station for the shooting range. There were clear dividers separating each cubical and paper targets across the room, meters away from where we were standing.

I grabbed a simple hand gun to test it out and stood next to Hoseok.

Big mistake.

I held up my gun and focused on my target, I clicked the safety off and smoothly pulled the trigger. As the bullet left the gun, it made a loud bang, causing Hoseok to shriek loudly and jump back in fear. I was about to turn to him to see if he was okay, when the others started to practice shooting too and his eyes widened again as he screamed.

He dropped to the floor and curled himself into a ball. He yelped every once a while as more guns fired. A part of me wanted to roll my eyes at him for being a wimp but a teeny weeny part of me felt bad for the poor guy.

Sighing, I fished around my pockets and crouched down in front of Hoseok. He didn't even acknowledge me being there, so I shook his shoulders. He finally opened his eyes to look at me, and they were full of fear. I took his hand and gave him my spongy ear plugs. I figured he needed them more than I did.

His eyes floated between my eyes and the items in his hand. I pushed his hands towards him to let him know he can take those. Hoseok smiled gratefully at me and finally stood up. He then gave me his hand so he could pull me up and I let him.

He whispered a quiet thanks and proceeded to put the ear plugs in when I nodded.

Rachel walked behind us in a straight line, pacing back and forth like a drill sergeant. "This test is relatively easy; all you need to do is to empty the box of ammunition in front of you and shoot the target. The one who has the most shots on the bull's eye will receive highest point. With that said, you may proceed." she proctored.

I glanced at Hoseok to see if he was okay and he seemed to be doing better with my ear plugs in. I turned my gaze back to the target and lifted the gun once again. Squaring my shoulders and spreading my feet apart, I shut my left eye and squinted with my other. As soon as I zeroed in on the bull's eye, I fired shot after shot until my ammo were gone.

The recoil from the gun was harsh; it made my hand jerk back, but the jolt running down my veins from pure adrenaline and the faint smell of gun powder excited me.

As the room echoed with the last shot, we all looked at our targets to see how well we did. I felt a surge of pride as I saw that my target was tattered right in the middle, hitting the bull's eye. I peered at the other members' targets.

Namjoon and Yoongi did fairly well, mostly in the 8 pts. section. Jin and Hoseok were just about average; I was surprised Hoseok even managed to shoot when he was so scared of loud noises. Jimin and Taehyung did well too, although they could be better with more practice.

Finally, my eyes landed on Jungkook's target.

The center of the target was completely shot in a clean circle as the bullets pierced through. He had gotten a perfect score, just like me. Interesting...

Rachel waved us off to the next test, which was nuclear explosives test. We watched as a professional assembled a small timer bomb and disable it before it exploded. Then we were each given the parts to make a bomb ourselves then shut it down before time was up.

I watched intently then remembered all the steps as I pieced each part together. Soon, the bomb was created and now my hands flew all over the place as I tried to disable it.

Red cord or the black cord????

I couldn't decide, so I just shut my eyes closed and just clipped a wire, hoping that it was the right one. I waited few seconds, but since there were no explosives, I supposed that I was safe. I let out a sigh of relief when...

KABOOOMMMM!!!!!

The walls shook as a bomb went off on the opposite side of the room. My eyes darted to the explosion site and I burst out laughing at the sight before me.

Namjoon was covered in black powder and debris from his head to his feet. His widened eyes blinked several times to clear out the dust particles, making him look like a confused puppy.

As we all burst out in laughter, I faintly realized that I was starting to trust these people and letting my guard down around them.
